READ CAREFULLY, the emailer is a from a friend. She sent the email which said "MY SISTER" it was NOT HER SISTER, numbnuts.

I post a lot of things on here which include stupid emails from some unknown person! MAYBE you should FOCUS ON READING comprehension. I think that is your problem not mine.

If you actually read the entire thread (I know you can do it) you will notice I also posted more information where it said the vaccine was not available yet. I also posted information showing the vaccine was safe! DUH!

In case you didn't know it this forum is for discussing all aspects of a subject even FALSE emails. So, get off my butt "Mr. Pharmboy" (yeah right).

I do not owe you an explanation about my postings just as you don't owe anyone one about yours. But, in fairness I thought I would TRY to explain what you missed in mine. Either accept it or not. That's your choice.

A poor excuse for a physician, IMO. I sure as hell wouldn't want you as my physician with your attitude. I know SOME doctors who have a 'GOD complex' and you seem to fit the roll perfectly.

I will post any damn thing I please because I happen to think people are smarter than you give them credit. They can decide for themselves. They don't need you to lecture them on what is or is not credible.

Put down the 'GOD COMPLEX' and get off your soapbox. I have met better and more decent doctors who are in rehab and/or jail. Having a PHD after your name doesn't impress me or anyone else for that matter. The EXCELLENT physicians are the ones who LISTEN as are the pharmacist. If you read some of the other posts by this 'physician' you would see a very immature and controlling person with not many facts about anything. I know some doctors just like him, just about two or three we deal with everyday. Most of the other doctors are fantastic which makes up for the couple of jerks.

I guess they don't realize they are hurting their patients and making fools of themselves but who am I, the 'note taker', the 'floor sweeper', bill payer, bookkeeper, trash taker outer, nobody (to them) to question their superiority? /s

I learned a long time ago to be who I am no matter what someone says to me. My actions will speak for themselves as will theirs. It's funny because around here if you didn't know the bazillionaires you would mistaken some of them for the homeless. lol!

They don't flaunt their wealth like some people flaunt professions. That has taught me a lot about respecting the people who really matter, the everyday hardworking people who just want others to leave them alone so they can live their lives. Those are my heroes, those are our customers. That's who I care about.

In my business, I have mentored 3 AA women and helped them with advice, encouragement, etc. I remain friends with 2 of the three; I lost contact with the third after she made remarks about Jews to me that were unbelievable.

And these three women were not some sad cases that ne
eded my help...so don’t get me wrong. In one case I helped a writer overcome (what I thought) was prejudice in the workplace, and argued for a promotion for her; in another, I encouraged her to become a writer (she had undervalued her talent).

These were all accomplished young women that—had they been white, I believe—would have advanced more easily. All I did was help them a bit. So please do not think me prejudiced...if you knew how I brought up my kids you would not say that.

Hmmm...funny you mentioned that. I did my medical training with a guy who graduated from a northeastern medical school and he told me (and other interns that were there) that he was rotating through psychiatry (while still at his med school) when a young woman was admitted to the ward. She was one of the women partying that night with Ted and crew and her story was that they were all doing acid and that’s why he couldn’t show for ten hours.
This story was told to me in the fall of 1971.

First of all,

No one should mix vaccine safety with politics. eg. comparing 9/11 truthers with anti-vaxers. This is about health and not politics.

The elite. Eg. Rockefellers, John P Holdren, Ted Turner, The Gates family and many more have freely admitted to eugenics and population control as a way to “save the planet”. These elites own and control Obama. So yes, I am worried about their Vaccines. Baxter pharma sent live bird flu virus in Vaccines to Europe and caught by Austrian labs. And this is not paranoid tin foil stuff. They really do want to reduce population period!!! And they don’t want Christians, freedom lovers, and constitutionalist to ruin their plan. Which is not what you originally stated. This was the quote I lifted right from your post:

But, as you seem to be graciously conceding my point, I have no wish to belabor the issue.

I will likewise concede that the likelihood of transmission is decreased, since those vaccinated and not suffering symptoms such as coughing and sneezing are less likely to transmit.

What I do not concede is the "logical extension" of my argument being "why try at all". I never stated that no one should be immunized, in fact just the opposite. I merely believe that hysterically running around immunizing everything that moves whether it is truly necessary or not may, in the long run, be counterproductive.

By all means, our God-given ability for knowledge should be used to develop all the health benefits possible. But, that same intelligence should be applied in carefully selected applications and not forced on populations as an all or nothing proposition. And should certainly not be surreptitiously imposed by claiming if you don't get the vaccine you could potentially be killing your loved ones, which is what prompted my original reply that you responded to.

I don't know enough about the polio virus to have an informed discussion. My limited understanding of it is that the result of the infection was much more severe and permanent as opposed to the flu, which is more mild and temporary. I also think the polio thing was extremely hyped because FDR was a victim, but as I said, I'm not well-versed on the subject. So, my guarded, amendable response to the polio situation would be it's probably a good idea to vaccinate the general population when the disease is more detrimental than the possible consequences of the vaccination.
