The very fact the naysayers were talking about it even is proof enough that it was BIG!!!
To: CyberRBTmail
I didn’t go, but would like to go next year. Imagine how big it could be! And only 6-7 weeks before the 2010 elections!!

I’d love to see a photo of the Nat’l Mall the morning of Sept 13th and compare it to the same site the morning after The One’s inauguration. Of course, there were only 10,000 at the Sept 12th even, but even so...

I think that the next big rally event will be in January or February ... when each state marches in their capital ... on the same day!

O’Rielly still says 75000. This man is a stone liberal nut. Anyone looking at the pictures knows the big O is wrong.

2 Million Man & Woman & Kids March
:) ... ABSOLUTELY!
I think the author chose the "man" term in contrast to the "one million man march" in 1995 which was actually 400,000 ... still a commendable turnout.
Then, we have this true "two million man march" in 2009 which is downplayed in the MSM with a meager 10,000 attendance.
To: Logical me
I was there, with a bunch of friends. No way it was 75,000. Using a ‘stadium metric’ IMO it would have taken several large stadiums to hold that crowd. Had to be at least 350,000, but could have easily been larger since people came and went throughout the day.

No I get ya. It was a real “2 Million Man March” which also included ladies and kids. ;-)
Incredible turnout and the liberal state news media was disgusting in essentially ignoring it.

I’ll bet they would be reporting an accurate count, if those folks were all armed.
Oh well, there’s always NEXT time.
