President Obama Downplays ACORN

OBAMA: You know, if -- frankly, it's not really something I've followed closely. I didn't even know that ACORN was getting a whole lot of federal money.

STEPHANOPOULOS: Both the Senate and the House have voted to cut it off.

OBAMA: You know, what I know is, is that what I saw on that video was certainly inappropriate and deserves to be investigated.

STEPHANOPOULOS: So you're not committing to -- to cut off the federal funding?

OBAMA: George, this is not the biggest issue facing the country. It's not something I'm paying a lot of attention to.

Dear Obama: For goodness sakes, you are the President of the United States so you should know all about this recent ACORN scandal.

1. For goodness sakes, Obama, you use to work for ACORN and ACORN worked hard to get you elected in 2008, so I would think that you would have more than a passing interest in what is happening to ACORN.

2. I'm sorry, Obama, but I say it defies belief when you claim that you are not paying attention to this ACORN scandal, because most voters know that your camp and ACORN worked closely together during the 2008 campaign.

3.So I say that you are either lying or you are an incompetent president when it comes to this ACORN scandal.

4. If you don't know much about this recent ACORN scandal, then I say that you need to fire your close advisers and get some new advisers, because your present advisers are not keeping you up to date with what is important in the news about this ACORN scandal.

5. Here's an idea: Why don't you appoint an ACORN CZAR, because you seem to have appointed CZARS for everything else.

He was also unaware that a million (whatever) people were going to come knocking on his door on a recent Saturday. Good thing they came in peace. He’s incompetent, a liar or both.
