Thanks for the link, EG.
Obama’s one big happy family.........(sniffle).
Not a recent revelation-——dredged up from memory.
You might try a google.
White House source: We never asked Van Jones to fill out the vetting questionnaire
UPDATE: FBI vetted Jones
probably deserves its own thread

Encouraged by Dix, RCP activists helped lead the riots that would leave 58 people dead, more than 2,300 people injured, some 5,300 buildings burned, and $1 billion in property damaged or destroyed. On the ten-year anniversary of the rioting, RCP member Joseph Veale fondly recalled the violence as 'the most beautiful, the most heroic civil action in the history of the United States.'" http://www.discoverthenetworks.org/groupProfile.asp?grpid=6197
And homeland security wants to investigate vets? Gimme a break. Maybe homeland security and Janet N. should use their tools on the Obama Administration "friends"...
Then - at some basic level - the FBI has changed.
That was my thought, too.
Hot Air has another update:
Update: Was the FBI check only aimed at criminal history? Omri Ceren e-mails to say he doubts it and points to this passage at the Office of Personnel Management website:
Q. Why are you going to investigate me? Im only applying for an entry level job and I dont need a security clearance.
A. The interests of the national security require that all persons privileged to be employed in the departments and agencies of the government shall be reliable, trustworthy, of good conduct and character, and of
complete and unswerving loyalty to the United States.
This means that the appointment of each civilian employee in any department or agency of the government is subject to investigation. The scope of the investigation will vary, depending on the nature of the position and the degree of harm that an individual in that position could cause.
Comment from reader of Hot Air asks the right questions:
The bottom line question here is who received the FBI report on Van Jones and who over ruled the findings to allow him in the White House?
Only one of three would have had the power to allow him in Who in the FBI will leak this information?
HS better get going on those czars---we need to know how many are security risks......and what kind of damage Jones did to US security.
tagable
Everyone is assuming Axelrod is speaking the truth. LOL
Van Jones was fired. No doubt about it.
