Of course, cable companies like Cablevision don’t actually *provide* the data for their onscreen listings. Vendors like Tribune Media Services, Gemstar, and FYI Television do. But hey, conservatives are famous for wrongheadedly lashing out at the wrong target. I mean, look at the whole war in Iraq.

But *do* carry on — the rest of us find all this cluelessness pretty amusing (in this case, anyway).

My husband was telling me about a man who is going to quit his cable, because the new free, digital channels are so good. >>

We started getting them with the digital tv conversion. We always had free tv. We bought a digital tv and had an outdoor antenna. We also get a couple of other channels through a new DIGITAL VCR/DVD unit we purchased, but don’t know if that would work for everyone.
