I’ve been reading a book titled “New Deal or Raw Deal?” that has opened my eyes to how big businesses used FDR’s New Deal programs to undermine and destroy their smaller competitors who couldn’t afford or couldn’t benefit from all the stupid policies. It was eye opening.
And, as part of fascism, you always have big businesses which are only too-willing to embrace government control as long as they get sweetheart deals as a result.
Everybody realizes that health care needs reforming. But that is primarily due to two players: 1) government and 2) trial lawyers. The Democrats’ plan will COST MORE and PROVIDE LESS because it only increases all the things that cause problems while undermining all the things that could lower costs.
I’ll have to look for it, but I have been hearing that a “grandfathering” is in effect for a lot of health care coverage that only exists until there is a change - and by that I mean virtually ANY change - in status.
Five years from the plan’s passing, such a change in status will get you booted out of your own plan, and into the government plan.
Thanks for that, Houeto.
I try to write my articles so that I don’t just express my opinions, but provide the quotes and the articles to back up what I’m saying.
Basically, I want to provide the evidence to win an argument with liberals (not that most liberals are capable of even realizing they are losing an argument).
It’s all about persuading the persuadable.
Well, you certainly succeeded with this one. That article was a$$-blistering!
Thanks again, Houeto.
A little bit of praise goes a loooooong way with a determined blogger :)
