The bizarre thing about this plan,, it would be one thing if these cars were then used for charities, sold by the GM used car division or even stripped down for all their parts. Not that any of that would be good,, it would just be your typical stupid government plan. But the fact that they are actually destroying the cars,, destroying the engines is just wrong. It is sickening. We’re not talking about day old donuts or old junk that was towed in. These are usable cars. these are running cars. Some are no doubt still good quality cars,, and they are being destroyed by the government and chopped up into little pieces. There is something here very very wrong with this. It is as though the government themselves is treating these cars as evil. As plaques. Things to be killed off and erased quickly. And yet we know,, this is most likely just the beginning.
What would happen should this program be expanded to such an extent that within a year or two, over a million old cars just disappeared? Two million cars?? What are we doing??
If these cars are such a threat that they must be destroyed,,, then why should we be allowed to own one at all??
