The public has a right to know exactly who it was who authorized her to make this public declaration. This is because the public has right to know whether she broke the law.

Unless she got proper authorization from Obama, she violated state laws and should be relieved of her position as the head of the Department of Health.

Of course, he never did indicate WHERE the birth certificate was issued, did he?

In my attempt to learn more about the Hawaiian birth certificate program, I came across the book, "In the name of Hawaiians" by Rona Tamiko Halualani. In the book, the author interviews many Hawaiians who voice frustration with the Hawaiian Health Office and the DHHL for sloppy record keeping of Vital Statistics. Here's an excerpt:

What if there is a HINT of truth to CNN's claim that there is no birth certificate for Mr. Obama? Let's say the state of Hawaii, with formal permission of Mr. Obama, releases a statement that says something like:

"Due to clerical oversight in years past, the originally-filed birth certificate of Barack H. Obama II has been lost. In accordance with state policies and procedures, the Certification of Live Birth is the birth certificate of record for Barack H. Obama II."

It would be awfully convenient for Mr. Obama, but true as far as the state of Hawaii is concerned in this example.

It's not muslimizing. The apostrophe represents a glottal stop to aid in pronunciation and natives of Hawai'i use it quite frequently as do many other languages in transliteration. That doesn't mean "Hawaii" is less acceptable.

That’s part of why I want to see the latest version of their office “rulebook,” the “Hawaii Administrative Rules, Chapter 117” (Title 11), Vital Statistics, Registration & Records Office.

I want to see what the current definition of “original birth certificate” is, in addition to seeing the meaning of:

“Accepted by STATE Registrar”
... vs ...
“Filed by Registrar”

Here’s a theory I submitted on another board I frequent. I think it’s about time for statement from Obama. Maybe next week?

“Between Lou Dobbs, Roy Blunt and several others, I think it’s safe to say that it is not just the “lunatic fringe” that think Obama should end this mess.
