HOLY CRAP BATMAN!!! Thats one heck of a chart.
I don’t see a box for ACORN. OR, it that represented by the entire chart!
Jri Thompson called this Chutes and Ladders. It looks more like Chutes and pitfall.
Follow the lines on the public side. The taxes go into a couple of black holes and never make it to the bottom health care box.
What stuck out in my mind immediately was that there is no box labeled “Patient.”
Nation health service corps, public health workforce corps, CCER? Hitler couldn’t have done this without the help of modern technology. This is a mega disaster.
This will make the people running the Post Office look like geniuses.
I sent this to many people - with a response from one of my husband’s daughters: “Please don’t sent me anymore emails regarding political views.” The poor dear has no clue that her young life could change to be very ugly. I was kind and avoided just saying “I’ll pray for you” - although we pray for all six of our children every night!
That would be the “consumers”
Please dont sent me anymore emails regarding political views.
How old is she if you don’t mind my asking? Most of my generation are lame-brains. No offense to your step-daughter, but they are.
I was afraid that was the box. I noticed also that “Consumers” can’t get any farther away from “Health Care Provider” without falling off the chart.
I do not see a gun pointed at the taxpayers who are going to be forced to pay for this scam.
Our problem is that we never remember the names of the scam artists and never hold them responsible for their smoke-and-mirrors game they’re playing. Hence, we continue re-electing them.
I’m amused by the “Special HIE Inspector General” box. They left out “(to be fired if he ever finds anything)”.
The biggest reason to be concerned is the big blue block in the lower center saying “HCA Commissioner”.
There are literally sections of the act that say the commissioner will establish “uniform marketing standards” for all private health insurance companies. The commissioner decides on the grievance process (including external reviews), tell them how much they can increase premiums, establish age categories, discrimination rules, and define how much of the premiums collected must be spent on medical bills.
Then the smaller blue box in the upper middle, “Health Benefits Advisory Committee”, establishes exactly what benefits must be offered by private insurers. Of course, if the committee cannot agree on a set of benefits, then the Secretary of Health and Human Services issues it instead, concentrating government power even more.
The scariest thing about this plan is not what is spelled out, but how much is left open to the two blue boxes, and how much power is concentrated there.
23 and raised in WNY. I so wanted to ask her if her views were from her own thinking or did she let someone else do the thinking for her...
MY two children were raised in TX - need I say more? (Conservative is in their BLOOD!)
Yep — I used to be more liberal about some issues. All liberals are INTOLERANT of opposing opinions. Like little children they stick their fingers in their ears and say “La la la la la...”
They never have any answer for — If you’re so right and so certain, why can you not hear any other side of an issue?
The sophomoric answer? —> Why should I have to listen? I already made up my mind and NOTHING is going to change it. Nyah!
But seriously — this bill is full of scary stuff. All those pro-lifers who supported BO should wake up and see that this bill will increase the number of abortions — even doubling it if you ask me.
Hey what’s 2 million lost souls?
And another — a box labeled “ASSISTED SUICIDE FOR USELESS EATERS AND UNLEBENSWURDIG”
