Didn’t I say that the reason I’d like a Palin/Paul ticket is because Palin would definitely temper his foreign policy into something a bit more realistic.

Paul is one of the few Congressmen, it seems to me, that has respect for the Constitution; look at his suggestion to issue letters of marque.

He is far more patriotic than many in the Congress; I would rather have him in office than that obvious treasonist, John Murtha. Ron Paul NEVER pretended to be anything other than anti-war, and so while I think the idea is not wise it is more honorable than the likes of BHO’s support for the war while condemning it, or Murtha’s anti-support while funding it.

considering the other 4 are totally unacceptable, its scary the others got any votes at all! I still say she would be best on the VP side as long as a decent conservative steps up. (I like Barbour of Mississippi)

I think Palin is going to get beaten up in the next 4 years. Here’s my list from who wiki thinks will be running:

I think anyone from the GOP side is gonna get “beat up” by the MSM and DNC. And your poing being Mr. Romney????

Jindal-"Chief of Staff"

I would agree.

Maybe a long shot for Palin, but if she did win, I would hope she would get some fresh faces and not the same old same old.

Not referring to age, but to the same names.

GWB Cabinet and Staff was very similar to GHWB's Cabinet as is 0 and Clinton. Same names, different roles.

Besides some of these so called conservative republicans have not been so warm welcoming to Palin.

Jindal would be a fresh name and as I wrote earlier, RP for SOT. He is old, but he has the right ideas to get this nation back on its financial feet.

Too bad Sanford had to pull a Bill. He could have been a contender.

Paul is more in line with Obama on world affairs.
Paul shares to many Liberal social values.

He is an Old Loon who has supporters handing out papers in support of a 9/11 Truther film

We could even argue that there have been just three or four good ones since Washington and NONE as good as he. I would say Monroe, Coolidge, even Harding is better than quite a few but he must have disappointed Florence.

>Paul is more in line with Obama on world affairs.

Such as? (And I alredy said that foreign policy is his weak point, didn’t I?)

>Paul shares to many Liberal social values.

Really? Like what? I do know that he is vehemently anti-infanticide (ie he is anti-abortion). Surely THAT is not what you’re referring to.

>He is an Old Loon who has supporters handing out papers in support of a 9/11 Truther film

So he’s responsible for all of his supporters? That’s like saying Bush is evil because some white-supremacist somewhere endorsed him; utterly absurd, especially when the person has not been appealing to those supporters on those issues.

I notice you didn’t attack his stance on Constitutionality, why is that?

And Silent Cal isn’t there! :(

I know. What a disappointment for Sanford. He’s out of the running for sure. I wish this poll wasn’t out because everyday the MSM are constantly taking shots at Palin, whom they know is the only threat to this imbecile of a president.

All you have to do is read L Ron Paul’s own words and what he supports.

Congress voted to condemn Ahmadinejad for his anti American speech at the UN and Columbia a few yrs. back.
L Ron Paul voted against condemning the Terrorist Ahmadinejad.

Congress Voted in support of the Iranians in the streets wating freedom, L Ron Paul voted against the Iranians and their freedom.

L Ron Paul 6 April Denounced American and others in reaction to North Korean Rocket Launch. L Ron Paul believes North Korea poses no threat.

L Ron Paul blames American interventionism in the Middle East for out problems with them and why the attacks of
Sept. 11. Paul called it blowback.

Paul said “they attack us because we’ve been over there”
In other world L Ron Paul thinks we deserved 9/11
These are the same comments of Noam Chomsky, Michael Moore, and the rest of the Left wing.

Paul voted No on Constitutional Amend banning same sex marriage Sept. 2004

Paul voted No on Constitutionally defining marriage asone man one woman July 2006

Opposes the death penality Jan 2007

Paul voted No on allowing school payer during the War on Terror Nov 2001.

If they were true journalist that did actual objective reporting, 0 wouldn't be in office.

Always trying to take down strong minded conservative women. It's going to back fire on them.

THE LEFT IS HYSTERICAL REGARDING Palin. They already know she’s a WINNER

Exactly! And they have their shrills saying she isn't ready! How clueless can one be and still breath.

Missed your ping. I agree, she will take a some hits from the press. She is a strong person, she will be fine.

RP may consider himself too old for the position. I do think as I posted another time, a good candidate for SOT.

Will have to look up Gary E. Johnson.

They can keep the RINO’s and Newt for sure. No interest. Romney would be the better of the VP’s on the list.

For the love of Mike, NO McCain. He was our Bob Dole in 08.

Hey, you're old enough to run for the House next year...&, IMO, that's the part of government that matters the MOST: it's the House that holds the purse strings on the fedgov, therefore, if the House doesn't initiate any & all spending bills as the Constitution requires, it can't be done. )not legally, anyway). Their shortened 2-yr length of office also shows the importance of the House that the Founders had in mind. In 2012 you'll be able to run for Senate, too!

Thanks for sending me the "Consent of the Governed" link. I added it to my bookmarks. It's an excellent read! :-)

Jindal was born in this country. He is a natural born citizen. His parents where both immigrants, but this does not disqualify him from legally seeking the Presidency.

Andrew Jackson's parents were BOTH immigrants. Andrew Jackson was born to Presbyterian Scots-Irish immigrants Andrew and Elizabeth Hutchinson Jackson, on March 15, 1767, approximately two years after they had emigrated from Carrickfergus, in Northern Ireland.

Yes, we know about JIndal being born here. That was not the issues, it was his parents as immigrants and the reason for being in the states. If one or both parents were here as diplomats representing another country, in this case, India, than he technically would not qualify for the office of President.

True about AJ’s parents and good point.
