What’s encouraging, is that the number of people becoming survivalists and storing up to provide for their own, reduces the number of people who are going to be coming around looking for a handout because THEY didn’t prepare.
Exactly. Even my son said that he was going to double up on his supplies.
And that investment will keep pace with inflation. The latest trip to the Dollar Store showed 50c cans of sardines are, six months later, now 70c - and still cheap at that. The big stores want $1.00. Same rate of increase on tins of bully beef and salmon. The wife started griping that we have no more space when I pick up another dozen packages of "on sale" pasta.
Oh yeah, plenty of ammo and water too.
Yep. Plus I like the chicken and dumplngs. My friends think I’m nuts stocking up on Armor Treet for a dollar a can, but I am not too good to eat it. Don’t taste bad if you fry it up. Plus, by using parts of animals that would go to waste, reduces my carbon foorprint!
parsy, who can’t figure out how any respectable freeper could let themselves get low on ammo...
Bad stuff seems to follow me. Been through that and a bunch of other stuff. Good thing I have a good and understanding wife. Murphy’s law is what I live by.
