Perhaps, but even more specifically, I think they want to destroy the value of weapons in the minds of Americans, and particularly the value of guns in the minds of women. We certainly wouldn't want to ruin the stereotype of gun owners being ignorant hicks and violent right wing extremists in the minds of the self righteous left now would we?

Firearms are the great Equalizer in these situations – average physical size will always favor the male attacker, in addition to the likelihood that the attacker will ‘Select’ the weaker victim.
Which makes it completely mind boggling why the ‘NAG’s [National Association of Gals] and other “Womens rights groups” don’t support the Second Amendment, and the basic civil right of self-defense.
THEY SHOULD BE FIRST IN LINE!
