I was embarrassed the night McCain went on the guys show to apologize. In fact, after that, while I voted for McCain I realized the guy was toast.

Unfortunately, I read where his contract was just renewed for three years. They have no one to replace him with.

I called Best Western. The customer service rep said that the parent company does not run ads on the Letterman show.
She also said they have been getting lots of calls today.

I just transfered my Capitol One balance to another card and closed the account. The call center Rep transfered me to a supervisor to explain why I no longer wanted their card.

Now bear in mind, the individual sponsors didn’t know Letterman, although surely a hater of conservatives, was going to be so tasteless on this specific pair of nights.

Still, it is not a bad idea to let the sponsors know that you DID see what Letterman said and that it DOES affect your purchasing decisions when you see who paid to air his bilge.
