The dog killed me. When that fat cat hopped up on the tree, then lazily slid down, I was dying. :D
These people spend *all* of their time denying nature, human nature, economic laws, etc.

I DVR'd it and watched it after the George Strait special. ;o) George Strait special was much better but I got a few laughs at the Goodes. We watched the George Strait special too. WTF was Jamie Foxx doing there? His racist, highly unfunny, highly unentertaining, and most likely pure fiction story was really trashy.

His story didn't bother me a bit. Totally unverifiable fairytale. In today's PC America all you can do is nod your head and hit the mute button. ;o) Long live the King of country music ... George Strait!

Missed it. It didn’t look like something I wanted to watch until it started to get talked up around here.

George Strait! I found it highly disrespectful. I'm sure he left many thinking that the handlers at George's concert back then wouldn't let any blacks in. Then to mock a country accent? He is a slimeball.
With that said, the wife and I are watching Pure Country tonight!

Liked it,I expect it to get better...The 1st episode was most likely a little heavy handed, just to establish the absurd political mindest of the characters...The African adoptee character is very lackluster. Maybe they can write him out of the show by sending him to live with Obama’s brother in the hut in Kenya.
I’ll be interested to see them deal with different issues in the future...Definitely wont measure up to KOTH though.
Hank & the boys are just too damn funny, and easy to relate to. Cant duplicate that kinda stuff.

I always thought King of The hill sucked. Not interested in this one at all.

I loved it. Probably the greatest 30-minute commentary on modern politics I've seen in 30 years. It's too soon to tell but I would be willing to put this show in the same league with “All in the Family”

Well if Pookie likes it, it must be good.

Three and a half stars. The episode reminded me of a moment in time recently. I had a plastic bag with a few groceries. A 20-something female, nearby, talking to her friend, made a comment about plastic bags and how they should be banned. I was unsure if the comment was directed towards me so I opted to keep the, ahem, peace. She was wearing a Che shirt...and got into a car that had a peace sticker. Oh, the hypocrisy that is liberalism.

George Strait, truly a gracious man with loads of talent. As far as I know, the man has never written a song in his life. And I have never seen him play more than 3 chords on the guitar. What talet does he exhibit?

My favorite line was:
"Since the election, It's OK to wear flag pins"
"So you are going to wear a flag pin"?
"Well......no.....

Hubby and I found this show amusing... We’ll keep watching.

I chuckled four times in a half an hour - worth two stars but I’ll give it a try again next week. The vegan dog was my favorite character.
