You beat me to it, I was just going to say the same thing, one of the core values being family values. I know several conservatives who believe in allowing gays to how do we say it? “Live and Let Live.” But when you are pushing for churches to have to legitimize the homosexual way of life as being a holy union, sorry, nope, just not gonna do it. In this case of a social issue, they are turning it into a zero-sum game.

The republican party just got a lot uglier if she's the new face representing it. Supporting gay marriage and Al Gore's stupidity on the environment is not forward looking it's liberal. Meghan Mccain is loved by the media because she's a liberal republican who agrees with the left.

The only good thing to come out of this is that maybe she will make her father's liberal positions and criticism of conservatives look more ridiculous. Hopefully, she is so annoying and gets so much MSM attention that RINO’s are embarrassed for abandoning true principals to try to curry favor with the liberal elites. I hope she becomes the voice of liberal Republicans and all these weak kneed pragmatists will have to be associated with her.
