I think the most important part of this is the fact that he was called by ZERO not whether we all agree or disagree with the video don’t you?

"Hail Great Republic"Hail great Republic of the world,
Which rear'd her empire in the West,
Where fam'd Columbus' flag unfurl'd,
Gave tortured Europe scenes of rest;
Be thou forever great and free,
The land of Love, and Liberty!

He seems to have quite a few big-government ideas.

don't think his being called is
the most important part. He is placing himself as a source of knowledge and information and if that information is wrong then that is the most important part. His efforts to inform the public through his videos happened well before he got "the call".
Have you not seen "
The American Form of Government"?

I want to elaborate on what I said. You are right, the key is at the state level.
A massive protest nationwide should commence. There should be a march on our respective state capitals. The state govt. need to be reminded that their interest is with the people of their state and not the federal government.
They need to reassert their duties to the people. Over many years their primary responsibility have been shifted to the federal government. They are taking bribes in my opinion. The tea parties are ok, but I think it is a band-aid approach. There really is no cohesiveness to the movement.
I don't pretend to know how to organize such an event, but, I am willing to participate in one. Everybody of every political stripe needs to be on board for this. Right now the media and this administration think this is just a conservative movement and are ignoring us in large part.
There has got to be a way to bring all groups into the fold and come together as one.
The government is moving quickly to replace the republic with more control over the public sector. The more money they give to the states and the people the less inclined they are to push the feds back.

Well, I guess the best I can say is that we are not France. And whatever he said or did there can stay there.
Common Sense was written for America, and that’s what we will go by.
It’s kind of like tossing out a good book because the epilogue made you cringe.

I won’t confuse any of you with facts.
Especially when this guy got some of his facts wrong.

I liked all of it until Thomas Paine said to abolish the electoral college.
And universal service. It's much better to get volunteers than to have to try to motivate conscriptees. Other than those two issues, 0be has nothing to worry about.

I liked all of it until Thomas Paine said to abolish the electoral college.
What the good Thomas Paine forgot to mention is that originally, the STATE LEGISLATORS chose the Senate members. And we MUST keep the electoral college or else the cities full of lounge-lizard-free-loading Democrats will over-ride the rest of the State free-market-capitalist Republicans.
I think I'd like to see the Electoral College change to a percentage vote representation. IE: State has 22 electoral votes, the State votes 49% R and 51% D, then 10 electoral votes go R and 11 go D.

I agree, this would be the best system.
To: cowboyusa
Actually, I would like a system based on the winner of the Congressional District getting that District’ Vote. Reagan proposed such a system, as can be read in “Letter's In His Own Hand.”

invited him to the White House to discuss the nature of these disturbing videos I don't know how popular Dr. Basso is because I've never heard of him before. But, I think it would be a mistake for him to go to the White House. Anyone meeting with the President is going to have an extensive security background check done. If not much is known about Basso that would be a good opportunity for Obama's people to find out.
