Obama wouldn’t know the truth if he tripped over it. And to think, I thought Clinton was bad. Obama’s worse.

I will admit I am baffled that the NYT, after giving 110% to suppress relevant news to get this guy elected, is doing this and the teleprompter piece.

I have heard the argument about how, once they get him in, they pretend to be objective. I think the recent stuff they are doing goes far beyond this, though. Perhaps they feel they got more than they bargained for?

How many times do you think I could tell my boss here at work “I inherited this mess...this isn’t my problem...I’m going to need more more more...this is going to take tons of overtime to fix...I didn’t create this mess...” before he got sick and tired of hearing my whining???

But it works fine in politics.

I seriously can not believe that he just said he has more than enough to do without worrying what goes on in the financials. Is this a joke?

“I inherited this problem”

He’s not the first President to inherit a bad economy. GW Bush inherited a bad economy. Clinton inherited a bad economy. Reagan inherited a bad economy. Ford inherited a bad economy.

I hope he uses the ""I inherited this problem" line ad nauseam, till people literally get sick of hearing it. 'Cause then it'll become his problem!

I haven’t quite put my hands around this, but something about him calling the NYT to have this discussion is just weird.

It's the kind that's going to turn out to be very costly for every person in this Country. I think I'll go puke now.

“...something about him calling the NYT to have this discussion is just weird.”

I thought so too.

(I’m trying desperately to keep my paranoid side from ruling me—but its always there, watching, trying to subvert my efforts.)

We can all go home now. The Kenyan says he’s not a socialist.

I would have bet my lunch money that he was a snake-in-the-grass, Marxist hell-bent on dragging us kicking and screaming into Pinkoville.

Oh, one can’t always be right, can one?

I’ll tell you what, if he’s not a socialist, he isn’t half-white either.

I do think it is actually appropriate for Barry to point out how socialist W was before him.

But he is flat out lying about what his ideological druthers would be if he had the "choice."

Newsflash, Mr. President. You always have a choice to NOT BE A SOCIALIST. There are other ways. Its called the Free Market. Hands Off.

Yes Obama is a socialist but he may be more of a fascist.

Read what a Vice President said in 1944. It sounds like he is describing Obama.

“The dangerous American fascist is the man who wants to do in the United States in an American way what Hitler did in Germany in a Prussian way. The American fascist would prefer not to use violence. His method is to poison the channels of public information.

With a fascist the problem is never how best to present the truth to the public but how best to use the news to deceive the public into giving the fascist and his group more money or more power...

Still another danger is represented by those who, paying lip service to democracy and the common welfare, in their insatiable greed for money and the power which money gives, do not hesitate surreptitiously to evade the laws designed to safeguard the public from monopolistic extortion...

The American fascists are most easily recognized by their deliberate perversion of truth and fact. Their newspapers and propaganda carefully cultivate every fissure of disunity, every crack in the common front against fascism... They claim to be super-patriots, but they would destroy every liberty guaranteed by the Constitution. They demand free enterprise, but are the spokesmen for monopoly and vested interest.

Their final objective toward which all their deceit is directed is to capture political power so that, using the power of the state and the power of the market simultaneously, they may keep the common man in eternal subjection.”
Henry A.Wallace,FDR’s VP, Democratic

The truth is scary for Obama and his band of misfits (Axelrod,Rahm,Soros,...Ayers). They use Bush, Limbaugh as a scapegoat whenever cornered or criticized.

Obama is an insecure child. He will deflect the truth. He will ridicule us. It is just a distraction from the truth.

He won’t win.

President Obama made some valid points about some of the socialistic policies of GW Bush, and really, if you think about it, most of the presidents since FDR - namely that we have going down this socialist road for a long time.

However, he is trying to distract us from the question - the question was “Is he a socialist. He chose to point the finger at Bush. The old, “Yeah, but look what he did!”. I agree with him that W made some socialistic moves in perscription drugs and in bailing out some banks - that’s bad true enough, but Obama - he took off sprinting toward the goal line of full socialization of everything he can get away with. He and his administration have all but said that free market captitalism has failed. He’s done everything he can to destroy faith in our system so that he can “save us”.

So, his “answer” to the NYT was especially disingenuious.

The question was asked and he couldnt answer.

He had to go back to the White House and get the question answered by his suck-butts and then he had to call back and give the journalist the answer.

Ask me if I am Socialist I wont have to seek a good answer from my flunkies.

Certainly Obama is Socialist, he studied it under Bill Ayres and Frank Davis and from his own Commie mother and Grandparents..

He did something similar with Brown...

“The machinations about his press conference which was perceived by some - albeit no one in the Prime Minister’s travelling party - as a snub are unlikely to matter long term. It is clear that the White House belatedly realised that they had not thought out some of the arrangements before Mr Brown arrived, fuelling the theory that they did not really care about their guest. The phone call from the President to Mr Brown’s departing plane helped soothe some of the hurt.”

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/politics/gordon-brown/4949934/Has-Gordon-Browns-meeting-with-Barack-Obama-restored-his-fortunes.html

Perhaps he is living a lie and is driven to cover any cracks
in his public persona that might expose his true self.
