Tiahrt is really the only good politician that KS has produced for generations.
This is what we see. Up in Washington it is a all a game. Principles are traded like baseball cards. This is a big disappointment but just like others like Cantor here in Virginia they think we won’t notice when they violate the constitution and join ranks with the left. Do I prefer them to the alternative, most certainly but what I do not prefer are men and women without principles because what sets us apart from our opposition are our principles. The fact that not one vote was necessary to confirm Obama’s choice makes it even worse. I’m sorry but the politics as usual is no longer acceptable and the conservatives in the GOP better understand that we aren’t handing out free passes on election day just because they aren’t Democrats and that we expect them to Lead in things small and large. We don’t need rubber stamps we need a firewall against Obama and his band of traitorous socialists. What irritates me about this is that I like individuals like Cantor and Brownback and I can’t see where they gain a single thing in the eyes of their constituents from playing this silly token vote game.
Look a little deeper. Sam has been slimy since he ran for state FFA President back in High School. Notice who he married. He married into the Stauffer family who is Stauffer Publications, who is Topeka Daily Capital, left wing liberal daily rag. His wife Mary is granddaughter of the old patriarch Stauffer. Sam, in order to stay close to the Stauffer money is nothing but a stiff tool for old man Stauffer, going wherever he gets shoved. You dont need to worry, ol Sam isnt going to distance himself from that Stauffer fortune that his dear wife stands to inherit.
