Both are elements of the same forces of the powerful elite, and the bankers who choose politicians and influence economies.
Think of it as an unholy alliance. It's like a global Dem verse conservatives on a global scale. The confusion comes in when you get the ones that don't really care about ideology and just get a trill or more wealth from playing global chess with the rest of them.
And then there are the Islamics...third most powerful force on the planet...looking for world dominance. Makes for an interesting take if you watch global events on a daily basis.

A lot of us on FR feel the same way, and I’m praying, but as a christian I knew this would come, it’s Bible prophecy fulfilling.

I was brought up with the idea that those who believed in conspiracy theories needed tin foil hats.
However, As I was researching many seemingly disparate things (Political correctness, destroying the middle class, open borders, flooding the country with illegal aliens and immigrants from third world countries, not making immigrants join our culture, moral equivalence, affirmative action), I began to realize one idea connected and explained them - a global conspiracy for a New World Order. Look up CFR, Trilateral Commission, and Bilderberger Group.
What scares me is how blatant the CFR members of the government have become in confiscating our money and dispensing it to global financiers.
Unfortunately the elite of both the republican and democratic party have been bought and paid for, and are complicit in the process.
EXACTLY! These secret societies have had members tell others that “we, who believe” are conspiracy theorists, and should wear tin foil hats (paraphrased), in order to continue their deviant plan uninterrupted.
Tea Party anyone?
