no. I will tell you the reason, but I fear it will be of no merit to you. My faith cannot reconcile the need for man to have evolved from anything. I firmly believe I was created in the image and likeness of God. While I do not believe that God looks like me, I cannot believe that God evolved from goo, soup, or anything else. I believe he had a reason for us being us. While I do believe there was probably a big bang when matter was called into existence, I find it harder to believe that by chance all these incredible things happened in just the right order that life could not only spontaneously begin, but change from one species to another. It is easier to believe that a loving God had so much of it within them, that they chose to bring forth life from their perfect love, and created man in their likeness and image to give back that love, and to work with them to create more life. Love is lifegiving. That is why marriage is the perfect image of the trinity. Two become one and out of their one they become 3. Free will, love, reason, intellegence, image and likeness of God. Intellegent design is all that makes sense to me, and truth be told, all I know is that I am here, how that happened is irrelevant. It is what I do while here that will make the difference. Looking backward to how it happened seems a waste of time. Will it change anything? I focus what time I have on making the world a better place for the future, but I respect your decision to look back as well.Seeing as my lack of belief in your system does not negate it, as your lack of belief in my does not, I bid you well in your search and respect your right to believe as you do. cheers!

Looking backward to how it happened seems a waste of time. Will it change anything?

Reminds me of an excerpt from The Centaur by John Updike:

"... I don't see the point of memorizing lists of animals that've been dead a million years."

"There is no point," my father said, "You are two hundred percent right; who cares about dead animals? If they're dead, let 'em lie; that's my motto. They depress the hell out of me. ..."

So, you know, many roads to the same enlightenment.
