I notice that FReeper Mtner77 has been making snide remarks about your humble correspondent, casting aspersions upon my veracity. I notice that it is my offbeat episodes that disturbs him the most such as stories about a Joisey friend I used to have who called himself Machine Gun Slade or about when I used to get extra large DiGiorno pizzas for just a buck or a little more. Sorry, Mtner77, but some of us do have colorful lives. Please forgive me for mentioning some of the more offbeat things that have happened to me but I guess I just happen to be incident prone.
However, I am now claiming as true one of the most bizarre incidents that I know about. Yes, Mtner77, I am now actually claiming that my father once got an enemy general (real war, not war games) to surrender his troops by impersonating a general even though he was only a corporal at the time and was wearing a pair of dirty shorts. Yes, mock that claim PLEASE, Mtner77 because I will publicly get your "mind right."
Remember, ol' PJ is no speed_addiction. So go ahead and challenge away. You better do it because the next thing you know, Yours Truly, could be claiming something else really wild such as being published in the Wall Street Journal.

Gregg is a RINO, but in this case we have a RINO playing the Opossum like a fiddle (I ain’t afraid of mixing my metaphors all crazy like).
This calls much needed attention to Obama’s attempted usurpation of the Census from the Commerce Department. Well played, Senator Gregg.

I’d love to see DUmmies reactions to Gregg before when he accepted the offer, and from this afternoon. Lotta backtrackin, I bet.
Also, didn’t Pitt read (since it was released the same day) that Gregg and the governor agreed to choose a Republican for his replacement?

Gregg for Commerce, yo. My first two years of college I was a journalism major at Ohio University. I missed the class when they told us it was OK to end a sentence with "yo."

You know, I went there for the first time just now.
I find it hard to believe there is anyone in this country that could be as stupid as the people in those threads. Not a shred of rationality.

I honestly don't know. It is hard to read Lynch, he's a strange guy... FUnnie story about another strange Lynch. On my way home from work today I was listening to FM radio (that's the band that plays what passes for music nowadays).
They had one of those call in questions and this was it: "What did Frank Booth refer to as a 'love letter?'"
I knew the answer. I had to think about it, and my first thought was "an ear."
No cheating now; who knows the answer. I don't have concert tickets for the seventh reply or the first correct answer.
I repeat, if you don't want concert tickets, what was Frank Booth referring as a "love letter?"
(I have no proof that any of this actually happened.)

Apparently you've never been to Philly. Philly is one of the few interesting places I've been. I know "Wit," "Witout," and "Whiz."
That's all I really need to know. Reading is so much more fun. Cheesesteaks are great, but Yuengling and those righteous pretzels are the BEST!
Pisses me off that I can't get Yuengling here in Ohio but PJ can get it in Florida. C'mon, PA! We're neighbors.

And to make sure that everyone knew how smart he was, he left us with the Dept of Education and the Dept of Energy, both designed to keep Americans from using what they own already...

That’s ‘cause all us guys in Jersey go by the nickname “Machine Gun Slade.”
