I am going to ignore the slings and arrows sent the way of us shorter statured women...and overlook the whole weight discussion, to concentrate on what is really important...
In some way, shape or form, the taxpayers of California (and the US) will pay to have the tissue reduction (read tummy tuck) done on OctoMom Jolie there. Anybody ever watch Jon and Kate Plus 8? Kate, a married mom whose husband had a job when she had her sextuplets...but I digress, had a tuck done at the benevolence of a plastic surgeon (whose wife had seen their Lifetime Show and knew Kate needed the work done). At the time (ie, a big Lifetime paycheck ago) Kate couldn’t afford the procedure, and insurance doesn’t cover it...BUT our media darling, Angelinawannabe, doesn’t have insurance (because she doesn’t have a job or employed significant other) so even if a plastic surgeon ‘donated’ his services, no doubt the anesthesia, hospital stay, etc would be covered elsewhere.
Having my tax dollars support her 12 kids, including the new octuplets, makes me nauseous.
And I don't even pay taxes!
We’d need photos to properly judge that...
Ah, ok! Thanks, that makes some sense, at least.
Double standard?
Are you proof that muscle outweighs fat? LOL!
Yes!
Don’t you just love when some sloppy, unattrctive male passes judgement on a woman’s looks?...most times when the woman wouldn’t look twice at “the judge.”
For this reason, my 12-year-old, who is 5-3 and 95 pounds, frets about her figure. Since she helps on the farm and plays soccer I keep reminding her she is muscular. Sometimes I fear it’s a losing battle. Mom can only say so much while the kids are getting pounded by the distorted images of “beautiful” models.
