We need this country to come crashing to a halt, and having Catholic hospitals shutting their doors is one way that's going to happen. When people start losing loved ones as a result of trying to force the pro-abort agenda down America's throat, then they will see what fools they were to think that a vote for Zero would make everything all right.
I clicked on links, and was taken only to an antiabortion site, not to Gallup. I’d really like to see a link to them. Running “abortion” in the search box at Gallup produced nothing.
Don’t give up, PLEASE. Win or lose, the libs make a lot of noise, and we need to make a lot of noise, as well. Remember one of the biggest fears politicians have is losing elections, and they want our votes.
I heard on the radio about the Gallup poll that the majority of Americans are against their tax dollars going for abortions oversees. So they just might be in the mood to call their reps, and a letter from the editor might be all they need to ACT.
Right from Gallup’s website:
http://www.gallup.com/poll/114091/Americans-Approve-Obama-Actions-Date.aspx
Only 35% approve of funds going overseas for abortions, so a generous majority of 65% DISAPPROVE. This is the time to take action on this issue. The Gallup poll, together with folks calling their reps., might make the difference. They FEAR losing our votes.
For those who don’t want to write an editor’s letter, please at least call your reps.
Still, abortion is such a fundamental part of the DemonRat party, that I strongly doubt we can influence the outcome. This Congress is even further left than the one that sent President Bush abortion legislation that he vetoed.
I'm counting on the pro-aborts tearing this country apart over their insistence that we comply in murder.
You’re welcome.
The poll said that 35% approve, so that leaves us with 65% who disapprove.
The time is ripe to contact our reps on this issue.
In any poll, there are those for one side, the other side, and then those that don't know, or are undecided, or whatever. Being as this issue does not directly impact people in the United States, and the lamestream media has not given it complete coverage, I would expect that there might be a lot of undecideds on this question.
But with only 35% approval, I acknowledge that there are most likely more people who actually registered disapproval than who said they approved of the action. Undecideds are usually not a high percentage in a poll, unless the subject of the question is generally poorly understood.
Still, I don't think contacting reps is going to work, although I'm curious what my new Senator (Gillebrand) might have to say on the subject. About the only thing she's moderate on is the Second Amendment, she pretty much votes total lib on everything else.
The hardcore Rats know they have to go with their feminazi base on this one. Maybe a few Blue Dogs can be persuaded, but chances are, they've already made up their minds on this, too.
Why do you think even some Dems are voting against the so-called economic stimulus package (unless it is drastically changed)?
Because they are hearing from the voters, and don’t want to lose their jobs.
And about Gillibrand, you have her pegged right. I wouldn’t be surprised if she changes her position on the 2nd amendment, now that she doesn’t need to be elected in a conservative congressional district.
btw, one issue she wouldn’t budge on was her pro-abortion position, which is why she got a 100% rating from NARAL.
BTTT
There’s nothing special about my letter, but it was published in three small town newspapers. If every prolifer wrote a letter, we could cover the entire country.
Thanx for the BTTT.
My pastor passed out a paper about this on Sunday.
The Wesleyan denomination....
“My pastor passed out a paper about this on Sunday.”
I’m so glad to hear that. People need to be informed, and our politicians need to hear from us, including Obama.
Many Catholic churches are passing out postcards against this for the congregation to send out to the politicians.
