Well to be totally fair to you, I never got to your use of “metaphor.”

I stopped reading at the first paragraph. It was all down hill from there.

Well, way to go. I hope anyone who reads one of your articles from now on stops reading and comes to an idiotic conclusion as a result. And then proceeds to tell you that you should learn all about them because THEY’VE been around since 1999, and are therefore clearly VIP people.

I read quit a few articles. I don’t comment to them very often. But when I do, I have the intellectual courtesy to read the entire article so that I understand the authors’ point.

And for that matter, when I actually bother to comment, it’s usually because I think the author did a good job or revealed an important point. So I guess I don’t understand the mentality of someone who reads one or two sentences and then goes around saying, “You’re stupid.”

You don’t even bother to read past my first paragraph, and then you have the balls to expect me to have checked your whole damn history? Unreal. Absolutely unreal.

It’s gonna be a long frickin’ 8 years if people don’t stop getting hysterical over the non issues.

And you’re damn right. It’s GOING to be a long frickin’ 8 years (noticing you’ve already re-elected your bozo obama). And more and more people like me are going to make sure of that.

I remember noticing how well tuned the instruments were.

Having played flute and sax for many years I can tell you it is extremely difficult to keep instruments in tune at low temps, and my experience is limited to situations much warmer than was experienced during the day of the inauguration.

No big deal — there are real issues out there and this isn’t even close.

What are the ASCAP/BMI royalties for a public performance of a recording with that audience? Bars and taverns pay pretty hefty fees to cover royalties on jukeboxes, radio and tv enjoyed by patrons - wonder if they waived the “law” in this instance.

Oh, my, GAWD! Now I understand why Obama got elected in the first place!

Now I understand how 57% of Obama voters were so freakin’ stupid they didn’t even know which party was running Congress the last two years.

Here goes again. Fortunately I copied/pasted this:

I can’t believe I am being forced to explain a simple progression of thought. But that’s the way it is with liberals, I suppose.

Here goes: the case of the canned music being passed off as the work of live performers is a case of a bait-and-switch. One thing is really going on, but we’re getting an entirely different version of reality broadcasted to us. And I am using this canned music thing as a metaphor for other - SERIOUSLY BAD THINGS - that have gone on and saying that under Obama they will CONTINUE to go on.

And one of the reasons that they WILL continue to go on is because of STUPID PEOPLE who believe lies as a matter of course, or who don’t have a freaking CLUE what the hell they’re even talking about.

Are you seriously flaming me because I’m not getting whipped up over a recording of Yo-yo Ma?

Seriously? Are you trolling? Looking for conspiracy in the airing of a classical music trio? Where were you when Rick Astley lip synced during the Macy’s parade? Propaganda!

You’re as bad as the Bush haters. It was a beautiful ceremony regardless of party, and I was suprised that I enjoyed it, but I did. Watched it on MSNBC for the hi-def as well (horror of horrors); I imagine they color corrected and white balanced their video too. Maybe we should be outraged about that too?

Heaven forbid the country looks moderately professional and proficient during a broadcast aired around the world.

No, I’m “flaming” you because you apparently lack either either the intellect or the courtesy (or both) to actually read an article before inferring a point that has virtually nothing to do with what I wrote.

I don’t know how many times I have to explain this: I use the word METAPHOR in the damn title for a reason.

METAPHOR: I am using the canned music to represent something else. Only an idiot focuses on the canned music instead of the “something else” that I was calling attention to. But as it turns out, there are a ton of idiots.

Is it some kind of heinous moral crime that Yo Yo Ma and his quartet pulled a Milli Vanilli? No. All of you friggin’ dumbasses: NO! That’s NOT what I’m saying, and you are gigantic idiots for thinking it is.

Does the fact that Team Obama pulled a little fast-one bait-and-switch - pretending one thing was going on (i.e. great musicians performing live) while in reality another thing was actually going on (canned music) - display itself in the way Obama has acted and will continue to act? And I’m saying YES. And I give two or three examples of bad stuff.

If you had bothered to actually read with a fourth grade level, you would have seen THE EXAMPLES of how Obama has played out this Milli Vanilli with IMPORTANT things like his 23 years spent in a racist church and his campaign financing lies that got him elected. And THAT’S what I’m talking about. The canned music thing is a minor but obvious example of what has been and will continue to be a major pattern of behavior. Why will you people not understand that?

Please. PLEASE. Don’t comment on an article unless you actually bothered to read it.

As I’ve said before, the uncomprehending comments to this article are themselves a METAPHOR for how Obama got elected. A bunch of ignoramuses who think they have a clue when they don’t end up jumping to completely idiotic conclusions, and look what happens as a result?
