I don’t want to overturn an election...I want to win in the first place. I am a Republican who accepts defeat unhappily but with grace. Next time, it will different hopefully. Didn’t you ever play sports?
You said — “The two major candidates Obama and McCain were on every ballot in this country. You will never see a day when a candidate is disallowed in some states but not others. It would create chaos. I cant even imagine you would want such a thing.”
There have been other elections where that’s been the case, that a Candidate was kept off the ballot. This is nothing new.
And — yes — that’s exactly what I would like in the *issue* of qualifications for the President of the United States, in terms of what the Constitution says... LOL...
What election might that be? A presidential election. Give me one example of a time when a Dem or a Repub was not on the ballot.

Yes, we were talking about Presidential Candidates and that’s what I was referring to. I would have to find it, but one that comes to mind (without me checking on it) is George Wallace. There are others in history, but that will take some time to dig up. You can do the same, if you want. If I look for it, it’s going to take a while.

In addition, the Constitution gives the individual states the right as to how they choose Electors (as that’s who actually votes for President). They can set up standards for what has to be met, in order for a Candidate to be on the ballot (President), as long as it’s (of course) applied equally to all — and (the most important part) — it does meet the Constitutional requirement.
I would not equate the battle for our Republic with a football game. The future of our country is at stake in this particular election and there is no 'next time' to win it back. Sorry, but the game is called, perhaps never to be re-played.
Can you give me more info about this picture? It certainly says more than a thousand words.
Not a Citizen? Oh! Too bad. Hasn't anyone told you you were standing in the wrong line? It's down the hall, to the left.
