So then why didn’t we fry the Walkers and Jonathan Pollard?
To: PurpleMountains
McCarthy was right.
And we need another McCarthy. But first, we need to revive real patriotism and contempt for the evil that is communism.

"So then why didnt we fry the Walkers and Jonathan Pollard?"I'm not knowledgeable enough about Pollard to say, but I would definitely have hanged Walker.

I'm not knowledgeable enough about Pollard to say, but I would definitely have hanged Walker. At the time of the Walker case the government's preferred mode of capitol punishment was still the electric chair.
What bothers me about the Rosenbergs is not that they fried but that they were the only ones. I'd prefer that the do it in all cases.

And we need another McCarthy.
Another big government authoritarian witch hunt? No thanks.

I hate traitors, but I can do without another McCarthy, a drunk who destroyed the lives of many innocent people.

Mr. Obama, are you now, or have you ever been a member of the Communist Party USA?

These people never give up... Pacifica radio was whining about Sacco and Vanzetti the other day... sheesh...

Well, we are talking about Communists here. This is much more than a “witch hunt.” Let’s recall that witches aren’t real. Communists and their threat to freedom are. Kill them all...

It wasn't a witch hunt. McCarthy said there was a list of people who's clearances should be investigated b/c their loyalties weren't clear.
His words were later twisted to say he knew the names of communists and was on a witch hunt. However, most of the original names were on the Reid list, which had previously been addressed to Congress. Some of the people on said list merely left one gov't position and got another
That said every last name McCarthy had turned out to be a communist or fellow traveler holding a government position.
Try reading "Black Listed by History," the other went to great lengths to provide copies of the charts and FBI files... its a lot more accurate than the "McCarthy=Bad" regurgitation..... furthermore the Venona files confirmed that McCarthy was right and so did Russia after the dissolution of the USSR.
Personally, I'm for limited gov't, but we have the FBI for a reason; to protect against domestic threat. And if our do-nothings in Congress actually listenend to them and allowed them to do their job, maybe we would read shocking stories about Hamas operatives that worked at the FBI and CIA BEFORE they did significant damage to the country, or before communists use their position to insure China goes red.
McCarthy had no authority, but to bring information he received to light.... which included people (working in signals intelligence and the Code room at the Pentagon) actively providing info to the reds.
Just because a lie is repeated often by sympathizing-hack "authors" and NEA troops (read public school teachers) doesn't make it true.

Kill them all...
What should we do with socialists? Should they all be killed as well? How about racists? I don't like racists. Should we kill them? And telemarketers. Let's not forget telemarketers.

He was correct in identifying communists, and his goal was to prevent them from destroying the country.
Here we sit around, afraid to insult anyone by ‘questioning their patriotism’ while they put a communist in the White House.
