This is rather late, as I’m just catching up to these threads after the Thanksgiving holiday, but Jim Quinn, of the Quinn and Rose morning show (WPGB out of Pittsburgh) would be good. He’s not as big as Levin, but he’s syndicated and he’s got a respectable following that’s growing.

Lamphere is well known to be a “spoiler”.

While he appears to lever a huge following, he has none but a few associates in the militias in Oklahoma. He tries to appear to be a storm chaser but he has no such equipment or facilities. He claims to be a movie maker, but his wife takes videos of them tramping through the woods and then they publish same under “Totally Skewed Films” on the web. They got a Nudist Colony in Depew to publish links to articles written by his wife for something called “Visually Oklahoma”, which apparently the nudist colony thought was a magazine, but it turned out to be a magazine created by his wife and he, that existed for about a week on the internet in 2006.

His Patriot Brigade Radio “network” is a couple of PCs in his home and some individuals he has networked with. He has no ‘minions’. Overnight AM is a show on his PCs, he is a legend in his own mind, he is beligerant, often thug like in his demeanor, and people who have known him in the past consider him unpredictable and personally dangerous to be around.

Lamphere has some degree of skill as a still photographer, suggesting his work in wedding photography and in scenic nature views is and should remain his primary day job. He shouldn’t quit it.
