Also interesting is Howard Dean choosing to step down after a win.

That piped my interest too. Furthermore, Dean the Scream was unusually quit during the election.

I still have faith in the American people to do the right thing. If he cannot prove his natural born status, even the limp wristers in the GOP will get on board for removing him.

1. There is a Constitution.

2. But this is a republic, not a democracy. The people can only express their power through direct elections of the congress and indirectly by voting for a slate of electors who meet to choose the president.(The individual electors are free to write any name on their ballot or leave it blank. They cannot be compelled to vote or not to vote for anyone).

3. The national government is composed of three branches: Legislative, Executive and Judicial. Their powers are separated.

4. There can be no constitutional crisis unless the branches can not resolve a dispute.

5. I know of no branch that recognizes there is a dispute.

6. Anybody can bring a lawsuit.

7. The Courts are not required to (and in fact are prevented) from taking any action where the matter is not a case in controversy, where the plaintiff has no standing, the the court has no jurisdiction over the defendant, where the matter is not ripe, is not judiciable -- in this case on account of it's being a political question.

8. Congress is the sole determinate of whether or not a person is qualified to be President.

9. Whether or not Congress decides, it is their call and is not appealable to the Courts.

10.The new Congress will be firmly in control of the Democrats. They will not prevent Barack Obama from being sworn in on January 20th.

STOP BEATING A DEAD HORSE!

Was reading a thread on DU a few days ago and they think the BC issue is over and listed this link as proof:

Hawaii officials declare Obama birth certificate genuine

Maybe Osama bin Laden should run, get elected and pardon himself. If he makes the right promises, we know that he can get elected, with at least 62,000,000 votes.

I still have faith in the American people to do the right thing.

I felt the same before the election. There's no way a terrorist loving, Muslim community organizer could take the White house. I was surprised how uninformed the voters actually were.

Muslims don't allow dogs inside the home. I'm still waiting for Oboma to get his own Barney (it won't happen).

It’s as bogus and slippery as they come. Read it carefully.

Even Bubba is concerned about his ‘constitutional eligibility’.

What does that tell you?

It would be, especially considering his COLB is fake.

That’s not the BC but just the same possibly altered COLB that Obama had on his web site for months.

While I doubt anything will come of this, I can imagine what kind of backlash would come from this if he was declared ineligible.

Makes no difference if obama is proven to be a fraud, he will still be prez. The Dems will not allow him to be thrown out and the GOP doesn’t have the courage to fight them. Our entire government is corrupt and will look the other way. Besides, we now have a permanent and growing under-class who don’t pay taxes and will forever elect guys just like obama. Can you say “Comrade”.
