congrats on the most nonsensical musing i have ever seen on this here site.
must be a generational thing. in my experience, anyone out there looking for a fight will no doubt find one. just like those code pink/ACLU freaks who go searching to be offended. they usually find what they are looking for as well.
“The man qualifies for the anal orifice of the year award. “
His defenders on here get the runner up awards.
“You are not even American, so shut up.”
YES, I AM.
WTF was I thinking?
“WTF was I thinking?”
I don’t know, but you’re having a problem staying focused on this topic.
No clue. Kind of makes me think we're not getting the full story here.
Try sticking your head a little further into the sand to avoid unpleasant thoughts.
Lets examine that statement. So if a LEO pulls over a car full of illegals, the illegals will 99 percent of the time will have no drivers license, no current registration, no valid vehicle insurance etc. No crime?
an officer does not need a reason to ask questions. sometimes they are not entitled to an answer, but that is beyond my point.
if an officer pulls over a car for a traffic infraction, the officer has observed a violation and can therefore detain the driver and require proper ID.
in this case, there was no traffic stop and no observed violation. so the "gunny" was not required to answer any questions. it would have been nice if he had been a decent guy, but it's everybody's right to be a total a$$hole.
as for the illegals, the officer has no way of knowing who is illegal or not at the time of deciding to make a stop. so maybe we should allow a couple stops of law-abiding citizens in order to proactively search out criminals.
You have missed my point. I was not referring to a specific traffic stop. I initially responded to the other poster above that stated:
"He should know better than most people to respect authority.
I responded:
You mean the authority that allows in, winks and nods and publicly encourages tens of millions to enter this country illegally, and then cry when they get little respect?
While these agents of the state harassed and detained this man and his wife, that were not breaking any laws, there were probably 10 crimes being committed within 30 miles distance, and 2000 more illegal aliens walking across the Texas Mexican border, laughing all the way.
We've got upwards of 40 million in this country illegally, and we are supposed to have respect for law enforcement?
You see when Americans are surrounded by lawlessness, aided and abetted by their own government, while being forced at gun point to subsidize this government sponsored lawlessness, well there is will be little respect left for government or law enforcement.
This is not a difficult concept as to why more and more people have little or no respect for law enforcement. It's completely justifiable and understandable.
