Here comes socialism... Flip the FLAG OBADMAN won’t salute and hold your breath for 4 years!
Irony, McCain Feingold!
And Bill Ayers gave a F-U interview tonight with a chicago newspaper and said that he did host a party for Obama in 1995 and he went to the Obamanation celebration.
I am truly ashamed of my country tonight also. something I never, ever thought I could feel that hits me squarely in the gut. I’m ashamed of the electorate that has chosen an image over substance, that has elected a facade instead of any real promise. Soon they will all be sorry for this mistake, for falling for a carnival sideshow barker who, like all of his ilk only wants to take their money while he smiles and promises to deliver the intangible.
I’m also truly ashamed of the GOP for bending over and refusing to fight in the face of pure evil. For neglecting to protect us in our time of dire need.
I’m not that optimistic. The people have voted themselves money. They will not be denied.
In 1994 something special happened. There was a unique opportunity there to educate the electorate and fundamentally change the country. They fought the good fight for awhile and became obsessed with politically bringing down Clinton when they should have continued to build on the conservative ideas that got them there.
Bush comes along and campaigns as a conservative and governs as a moderate/liberal, but is conservative on a few things.
We are hit on 911, the country goes on a war footing. Conservatives rally behind Bush, and push him to victory in 2004. Still during this time, the conservative movement has no elected leadership. It’s as if the movement has been neglected. Sure we have been out here on the internet and on talk radio, but if you don’t have elected leaders pushing an agenda, you are getting nowhere. That’s where we are...
You are so right on.
Utterly ashamed as well. This is not the America I grew up to love and dedicate my career to. This is not the same country that brought us the ideals espoused in our Constitution and Declaration of Independence. I used to have faith in the American people, but they have failed us twice - in nominating Hussein and electing him president. Well, America was great while it lasted...
In 1992, I learned just how fickle the American people are.
Tonight and tomorrow, anything that goes wrong will STILL be blamed on Bush (they should get at least 2 years out of that). Then, it will be the greedy CEO’s or corporations who resist the socialist “mandate”. Our press will comply. I’m ashamed as well.
You're right, the people's heads are so filled with bogus nonsense they may never be able to return to a non-socialist America. And without capitalism, the dream is dead.
I hate my government.
Nice.
"The country is a great country that has withstood great challenges and have always prevailed. We will survive four years of BHO."
In speaking to my friends and associates, I have been saying that if B. Hussein wins, it ain't no big deal as far as he goes.
On the other hand, the fact that our voters are so pathetic and intellectually vacant that McCainiac, and worse still B. Hussein are the best we can do, speaks of how far we as a nation have fallen, in terms of political comprehension...not how much harm either will be able to do.
Only God can help us...
I don’t think you will have to be ashamed very long. Won’t be long there won’t be a country to be ashamed of.
I never presume I’m smarter than the electorate as a whole. The US people spoke. The trick is in understanding why the vote went the way it did. I chalk it up to freak historical economical events combined with a Rep. party that picked a career beurocrat over a leader. Think about the choice...a newcomer (who really has no history of anything) vs more of the same. C’mon, who, in their right mind, would wish for more of the same? I voted for McCain but I did so reluctantly. That’s not a winning strategy.
BTT
