That's great news!! I thought our best hope was to get Gov. Palin to say something, but McCain himself has said it! That should be tough for the MSM to ignore completely, no matter how much they spin.

The theme now is COVER UP. Why is this video being withheld??

Why the COVER UP????? This is (potentially) much easier to address than a lot of the other matters in Obama's bio and history, because the LA Times reported on the video 6 months ago, there's no doubt about its existence (unless all copies are being deep-sixed now). Anything too explosive on there should of course be devastating to the Obamanation, which is why the pressure must be ramped up to the max.

Pressure the Obama campaign, pressure the LA Times, pressure all of the media, etc.

Interesting hint that the GOP already has tapes, but think the LA TIMES releasing them will have a lot more effect. Taking a shot at pressuring them before they simply run ads and drop it themselves.

Just as many Obama supporters were in San Francisco in the room with him when he called Midwesterners bitter gun-and-religion-clingers apathetic to all those who are not like them. yeah, there’s still way too much speculation — right now we don’t know that anyone except the LA Times and their source have possess this video..... we don’t even really know that it still exists, since if it is as embarrassing to Obama’s electoral prospects as we have heard then of course his campaign is in critical danger from it.....

I won’t be surprised if it never comes out, since the only way it comes out is if someone hostile to Obama’s campaign has it. I doubt the LA Times will ever release it, unless the pressure and embarrassment becomes truly enormous. We all know the media types can stonewall almost anything when they are motivated, and getting Obama elected is plenty of motivation for most liberals.

The McCain call for release and the building pressure could just be a shot across the bow of the LAT saying either you release it or someone else will, which would be damaging to the LAT. The cover-up is always worse than the crime.

All of this is speculation of course, but I have always believed that McCain or one of the 527s had some sort of October surprise. McCain has always believed that the last 72 hours decide elections, which is why this stuff has been sitting there until now. I can't believe that Obama can hide his checkered past without something coming to light. Hillary was limited in what she could release because it would have hurt the Dem party and caused a rift between blacks, the Dems most loyal constituency, and the rest of the party. The Reps are under no such restrictions or limitations.

Since there is a week to go, you will find out pretty quickly if these stories are true. I don’t know why the Obama camp would circulate such stories. If anything, it would come from the McCain side. We do know the tape exists and that there was the dinner and we know about some of what was said based on the LAT report.

I think we are all getting off the point here, and being distracted by all this crazy talk of Marxism, cuddling and dining with terrorists both foreign and domestic, lying, being for Israel while being against Israel, and accusations of strange countries of birth. The point here is change. Change and hope. Can't we just get back to focusing on change and hope, and people fainting at my rallies, and sensations running up the legs of MSM talking heads?
