I am very familiar to this arrangement. I sang it back in high school back in the mid-70’s as well as performed it in concert band, both in high school as well as at least annually for the 8 years I was in the US Marine Corps as a Field Musician. It is by far, the best arrangement of the Battle Hymn ever done.

Yes indeed. For what it is - a military hymn - there is no better arrangement. That's why people are still singing it (much bad music did not survive the 70s).

Shout out by the way from a Marine mom-to-be. My son has been sworn into the Reserves already on the Delayed Entry program, and will report to the joys of Parris Island as soon as he's got his high school diploma. Better him than me - I'm too old, too out of shape, and too cranky.

Just received this and was greatly moved. VERY much appropriate this day before D=DAY. Just an awesome reminder of what this country was built on and for - FREEDOM!! My late father in law is a silver and bronze star recipient from France in WWII and my uncle a deceased POW. My son is retired Army. My heart and thanks to all out there who have served or currently serving.
