No argument there!! :)
This illustrates clearly one of my top three utter frustrations with McCain. How can you not explain these basic truths to the idiot masses that are a large part of the American voting public? Welfare payments to the segment of the population that contribute nothing to the economy by "paying their fair share" of taxes and the unrebutted claims that it's good to be taxing the big bad corporations, who will just transfer their own tax burden to their gullible customers.
It's unbelievably stupid that neither McCain or Palin for that matter have directly attacked these ridiculous liberal assumptions.
LOL!
It’s nice to “meet you”.
I’m living just south of you.
It’s so nice to meet a fellow traveler in the lib NW.
Take care, now.
Andrew!
Didn’t realize you were a freeper.
Great article.
Thank you.
It should..... but do u think the MSM will mention the non answer?
will they question the Obama doctrine where he says....”IF” we have the ability?
Will he ever be questioned if he was wrong on the surge???...and actually GIVE an answer?
Will he ever be asked again...How much will the fine be for not providing health insurance???
Will his answer about living hi off the hog be contrasted with his own brother??
Will he ever be asked if he is indeed the 2nd highest bribed politician by Frannie and Freddie?
Will he ever be asked if he still thinks that Projector is a good use of taxpayers money?
Shuuuush!...listen for the crickets!!!
What you said. Bingo.
I like your analysis and it provoked the thought: we don’t hear about how old/sick McCain is any more much, do we?
One benefit to the debates has been that McCain is obviously sharp, energetic, and healthy. There is not difference in the energy or capacity of the two men as they stand toe to toe. I have not even considered the issue of “too old” when watching the debates.
Is that argument dead?
This was my impression of the debate
blah, blah, blah, blah, blah
I thought the VPs did a better job and I’d take either of them any day over Obambi and McCain.
I wish Palin could debate Obambi. She would do great against him.
Rush played bits of a McCain speech given New Mexico two days ago, in which he blew Obama to pieces. Out-Palined Palin, in fact, so we know McCain’s capable of doing it. The thing is, he had an audience of 40 or 50 million last night, and his New Mexico speech reached maybe thousands. Campaign strategy had better include more of the Albuquerque, N.M. stuff or we’re toast. (I got so mad I turned off the debate early on and went to bed, so maybe I have no right to comment on how McCain did last night.) Maybe McCain should think about buying a twenty minute TV slot and tell Americans the truth about Obama, how dangerous he is, etc.. But he had time last night and it was free.
I think McCain kicked Bigears butt today.
Nailed his jello spine to a wall.
Ever since Carvile engineered the defeat of Thornburgh of Pennsylvania, free health care has been the vehicle for the leftists to win elections.
If not for that issue we would never have had bubba and bubbette.
Imagine the same people that brought us fannie and freddie being in charge of our health care.
He is a Marxist for sure!
The format was terrible. McCain didn’t say much that would make a conservative happy. Obama was slick as usual.
PS there are no undecided black voters...
It;s dead until McCain starts polling better, then the MSM will begin again with the “McCain’s too old” meme.
I can not fathom why people do not understand that.
“All it takes for evil to triumph is for one good man to do nothing”.
Obama is EVIL.
McCain may not be the “perfect” Republican but this country will NOT survive a Zero administration.
There will be -nothing- to “take back in 2012”.
Above all, I will vote for the *survival* of my country...even if it means voting for a “flawed” Republican.
We can't "continue" down that path as we've followed the path of compromise to our own detriment. Compromising with the enemy (and make no mistake, the democrats are the enemy of a free America) will not win the war, and will not restore our freedom.
Brilliant!!! McCain can claim that the stock market is plummeting because Obama has been up in the polls! — and he may be correct.
As a full time trader, something is going on here that goes beyond just the disaster in the financial sector.
I was in the market and lost a chunk in 2000 when the market was in a perpetual sense of uncertainty while they were counting chads when Gore tried to steal the election. The markets don’t like uncertainty or knowing that a libbie might take over.
“I turned off the debate early on and went to bed”
Are you sleep-FReeping?....:)

I hate to disappoint those of you who were against Romney (I enthusiastically voted for him), but Romney was a superb debater who would have gracefully called Obama on the carpet for all his b.s. statistics. He would have nailed Obambi with a smile.
A Romney-Obambi debate would have been the debate of the century. Romney had clearly-thought-out sentences, peppered with humor and a twinkle in his eye - an extremely nimble mind.
