condi doesn’t have to teach palin “the look.” palin is a mother. once a woman becomes a mother, she instantly inherits the power of “the look.”

McCain is the one who is multi-tasking, if we’re keeping score.

Not only that, it's about priorities. McCain has his in order, Obama doesn't.

I truly hope the president calls on Obama at the Cabinet table (with the cameras rolling) and let BO stumble and stammer for every voter to see.

I wish Bush would throw a trick question at Obama like the media does to Sarah Palin, but I'm afraid Bush is too honorable for that. But somebody needs to make the fool out of Obama that he is. I suppose McCain will have to wait for the debate to do it.

If McCain is doing so well, why are the polls going the other way?? Inquiring minds would like to know.

McCain can win save the financial world and win the debate, all in two days. Pretty presidential. Bill Kristol thinks so too.

And don’t forget, O was surfing in Hawaii (a la Kerry wind-sailing) while Russia invaded Ossesia. There’s a guy who really knows how to unwind — while the Rome burns.

Haha, isn’t that true? The ‘look.’ It is a priceless gift you get with motherhood/ along with diapers, no sleep, worrying yourself sick. Good for bad drivers, too. “Give ‘em that bad-eye, honey.” hahah

New ad...Nero fiddling morphing into Barak stating”They’ll call me if they need me!”.

It will never happen but it’s nice to think about!

It cracks me up that the Zero is insinuating that a Naval Aviator cannot multi-task. It just boggles the mind.

In more legitimate polls, there is only a slight drift of toward Obambi (see Rasmussen).

Other polls that show wide margins in Obambi's favor are polls that over-sample democRATS. The drive-by media pollsters do this every election cycle.

Whatever you want to say about McCain (and I have said some pretty bad things about him), you have to admit he’s his own man...bad decisions or not. Obama is a totally scripted, totally reliant on advisors politician. I’m sure when the whole crisis started he was clueless. Undoubtedly he asked Axelrod “what do we do now?”

“The first rebuttal should be that McCain has opened his schedule for the past couple of months for town halls yet hussein never accepted. “

Yes, and Bill Clinton did it for McCain !!

This isn't the way it was portrayed by the MSM / DBM.....

They licked up Obama's spin...that he could multi-task..and McCain couldn't. That's all I heard on the radio....

The dim’s are trying “Have their cake and eat it, too.” This is from the Heritage Foundation’s Morning Bell.

Following Bernanke’s presentation, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) told The New York Times: “There is a clear recognition among members of both parties that we must act, and act soon.” Unfortunately, leaders in both the House and Senate are insisting on playing politics instead of focusing on the problem at hand. On Tuesday, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) told the White House it must guarantee John McCain supports a bailout package if it hoped to pass the Senate. But then when McCain announced he would come to Washington to participate in negotiations, Reid flip flopped, issuing the following statement: “It would not be helpful at this time to have them come back during these negotiations and risk injecting presidential politics into this process or distract important talks about the future of our nation’s economy.” Reid can’t have it both ways. He can’t both demand McCain support the plan and then bar him from participating in its formation.

This is Obama’s home town paper (which, IIRC, endorsed Bush). Not too sure we can move those numbers appreciably.

Political junkies want to see the debate. And the point is that McCain might be able to save the day and do the debate. He has to threaten to postpone it to emphasize the urgency of the crisis, throw off Barry's prep for the national security debate, and then turn around and agree to do the debate, thereby flushing Obama's "multi-tasking" snark down the toilet.
