I think McCain's speech ticked off the conservative base. I think that all his talk of bipartisanship was a cover for amnesty and letting the left write bills like the fairness doctrine. Because his speech was delivered in such a boring fashion, I don't think it connected with the independents and democrats that he was aiming for last night. I hope I'm wrong, I hope he's up by 3 today. I want to see the state polls from Ohio, Pa, Minn. I'm voting for the guy, I have no choice. I just wish he acted like a conservative last night. But, I don't think he connected with the groups that he believes he needs to win. We'll see. Hoping that I'm wrong. I've been saying for some time now that McCain was going to win by 10. I thought after saddleback and Palin that he was on the right path. Then last night we see the real John McCain, a liberal republican on stage. So it ticked me off. Hopefully it got people on the fence in battleground states to vote for him. I hope rass has him up today, hope i’m wrong.
