All their gold stripes are on their left side of their uniform, that is correct.
You can see the American Flag patch on the right, that is also correct.
There were 5 men you could have compared the picture alignment to to ‘make your guess’ about whether the photo was reversed or not.

if you ‘knew’ that they were MCL, then you should have seen, quite obviously, their colors of their uniforms were correct, and that means the poser officer had his sword on the wrong side.
