Hey Tex, do you know what they call the person who finishes last in his class at Medical School? DOCTOR!
Last in the class at Harvard Law? You get the idea. I also know men who were shot down with less than 23 missions. He was awarded those medals for his courage, bravery, and honor. It takes courage to strap on a fighter, knowing that it might be your last flight. Have you ever done that?
Also, the sons of Flag Officers that I knew in the Air Force were not “untouchable”. They had to work hard to achieve because of carrying the “legacy” burden. Blundered?

It should be noted that none of McCains medals related to anything he did in combat. They were given for the supposed bravery he displayed after he had been shot down and captured.Nothing supposed about the zot just delivered to your posting privs. Nice links you have there, too - Daily Kos, Huff Post, and other liberal nutcase forums. Later, troll.

I don't know the history or John father and grandfather but they were great men, no doubt, that provided the very best they could for their son and grandson.
I can surely give profs to John for his service and wish no man ever has to endure what he did.
Now, for his politics, that's a new battle.

@0 minutes of combat are plenty. You could die a hundred times in that amount of time. 10 seconds in a firefight is an eternity and I've watched many die in those 10 second bursts of war.
It is clear that you know nothing of fighting wars either on the ground or in the air. You have chosen to trash a known and respected war hero and then support a yellow backed coward who refused to volunteer to serve his country.
How is it that Obama can sit in a church every Sunday for 20 years and listen to racist anti white hate speech but yet he can't bring himself to step up and serve his country?
Take your crap some place else there are a lot of vets in here who know cowardly spin verbal diarrhea when they hear it. By the way, lick you lips and wipe you mouth some of it is still dripping off.

I’m assuming you meant to be posting to the original poster, as I would never denigrate McCain’s service.

I believe that McCain has the best interests of the United Sates of America at heart. He is flat-out wrong in some of his policy positions but not all. Barrack Hussein Obama does not, IMO, have the best interests of the United States of America at heart and is wrong on virtually all of his policy positions. McCain is the obvious choice.”
I agree and for that alone, there is NO comparison between these two. The MOST important quality is what you mentioned - a firm love of America and the determination to put its interests and good ahead of his own. Look, he’ll need some Come to Jesus briefings when he takes office, but they’ll come, and because his motives are honorable, he’ll listen to them. And hopefully, likely, he’ll be surrounded by wise advisors and people smarter than he, with the same intentions for America and to keep it safe.
The alternative of BHO is totally untenable and unthinkable.

So much for his posting “priviledges.”

I don’t care where he was, even anchormen(last in class) he was able to be accepted out of all those that applied. An admirals son has to make the grade to get in Annapolis. It is a lot more than most people do. My husband wasn’t at the top of his class, but he still is a hero to most who wanted in and couldn’t get there. I admire anyone who went through the four years at USNA and made it through. Plebe year was tough back then.

Yes that was to the original poster. Obama doesn't have enough experience in government to run a preschool. My 13 year old son knows more about the military and national defense mission that Berry ever will.
