It's a very sick country and I see nothing happening to move it back to anything resembling what it once was. The healthiest thing to do is to leave a sick country.

Just make sure you leave BEFORE November 4th. Yes, yes, I know, November 5th is Democrat Voting Day, but leave before the 4th just to be sure.

I would be long gone, 'cept for this chain around my ankle ...you see, I am a proletariat and have no money to have traveled, much less move out of the country.

CAST OFF those chains and flee! You can do it, no matter how poor! Think of all those penniless Cubans, floating on old automobiles to come to America. They have no money, and yet they come! So you can do the same, in reverse! Float, swim, dogpaddle--just hie thyself to the Workers' Paradise!

Today, with the passing of the FISA bill, will also serve as the anniversary of the last night that I sleep in my own home, shop in my small hometown, and watch our all-American programming. As is stands, our car is packed and our hopes are high, for tomorrow we depart on the last, and most important, leg of a 5 year journey of emigration. Tomorrow, we seek out a promise of upward mobility in a statistical meritocracy, which also means, we are pursuing the “American Dream”. Like those that came before us to found this country, we are only taking what we can carry with us, and our hopes and dreams—with luck, this will be enough.

Uh, sorry, my attention wandered off somewhere around "upward mobility in a statistical meritocracy"..... Are you trying to say you're moving because of the FISA bill? Looks like Oregone is a proud graduate of the William Rivers Pitt School of Unnecessarily Bombastic Writing.

He isn’t going anywhere. He just wants to rant.

Of course.

And in the 1-in-100,000 chance that a primitive does actually leave this country, the primitive shrouds it with sentiments of nobility and sacrifice, when in fact the primitive just got a job with more money. Or in this case, got a deal on some real-estate.

It's nothing more than that.

One is reminded of the American Nana primitive, who left America for Canada because of George Bush.....when in fact she moved because her husband is a Canadian national working for a Canadian company, and was called back to work at the home office.

Primitives do this all the time, facading carnal and monetary interests with a veil of alleged nobility and sacrifice.

I am merely reactionary to the last 8 years of this absurd political experience, which subsequently corresponds to 8 years since I became politically aware.

He was in orgiastic blissful ignorance for the previous eight years with the penis in chief, I mean Hillary, running things.

I look forward to a life where I do not have to listen to war anthems at the start of every high school sports game,

I don't watch soccer often but every game I have seen starts with that country's anthem. But please don't let reality get in the way of your rants.

Doesn't Canada have a program where anyone can be a citizen if they have enough money? I used to read a half a mill in cash was enough.

“If you think the security services of Panama are going to be more considerate of your privacy than in this country it clearly demonstrates that you are seriously delusional.”

Ha, excellent point. I can hear this DUmmie now, being arrested in Panama, screaming “but I’m am American citizen.”

One can only hope that he will stop by the American embassy to renounce his eeeeevil American citizenship before the arrest.

A Good Day to say "Goodbye".

Goodbye is too good a word, babe, so I'll just say fare thee well.

When I first considered leaving the United States, it was based upon the premise that our social condition is controlled by a self-sustaining process of greed and poverty, supported by a social order that ensures that each generation, averaged over a long period of time, will be as consistently deprived as the rest.

I understand. Well, have a safe...

In other words, the conditions of this society ensure posterity will not be much different from the last, and the laws will ensure that nothing will be able to change or stop the cycle.

...trip, look, the buzzer just went off on the dryer and if I don't get those close folded, they'll get all wrinkled, so...

The bottom line was, ‘change’ was nothing more than a mere word, and nothing short of a revolution was going to make a difference.

You're starting to remind me of Dianne from Cheers. Shouldn't you be heading out?

Perhaps I am merely reactionary to the last 8 years of this absurd political experience, which subsequently corresponds to 8 years since I became politically aware. I’ve often thought, ‘perhaps I am wrong?’. Perhaps we really will not go to war? Perhaps the American people are smart enough to choose a leader who isn’t bent on destroying the constitution? Perhaps things really can change around here? I’ve tried to put my dogmatic thinking away, and ask honest questions with the assumption that I could be wrong. But time and time again, my assumptions on the goodwill of the country, the intelligence of Americans, and our ability to change the process have been proven correct (and this memorable day is another display of this concept). My entire lack of faith in this country, its people, and its process has been upheld countless times, to such an extent, I’ve probably blocked out most of these travesties with the hope of leaving those memories behind.

Will you just leave already? Vamoose, scram, don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya, you don't have to go home but you can't stay here, don't go away mad, just GO AWAY!!!
