You misunderstand. Getting his opponents to bay after a false trail is tricking his opponents—people here, for example—into crying wolf and thereby discrediting anything else that is offered up as reason for voting against him.
Is it possible—just barely—that Obama does not qualify as a natural-born citizen of the US? Yes. But the likelihood of this being the case is far less than the possibility that this is being dangled tantalizingly so that his opponents will run around in circles chasing their tails on the issue, to the neglect of shining light on his record, his associates, his proposals—and with the ultimate objective that the tail-chasing will be used to discredit what is said about his record, his associates, and his proposals: “How can you believe what they say about these things? Look at how obsessed they were about the non-issue of his birth certificate! These are merely hate-filled partisans who will stop at nothing! Hope! Change!”
Oh, and BTW, thanks for bumping the thread with all your comments and threats and insinuations and chickensh*ttery.
Second, I'm suggesting to you that even though he is the owner of this site, he has other things on his mind right now, and that offering him as a referee is a straw-man argument that serves your purpose, but without getting his permission first to allow you to make your offer to others, people won't take kindly to your insinuating him into this on your own.

All personal information could be blacked out while retaining the headers (Date of birth, Mother's name, Father's name, etc). None of that is relevant. Perhaps if KJ doesn't have the program (although it can be done in paint), she could send it to JR.

My BC says “Rev l1/01” just like Obama’s, and just like the DeCosta BC. Null and void mentioned that this shouldn’t make sense. That is a point I would agree on, but again, I am accepting the DeCosta BC as legit. Her BC looks very different than mine and Obama’s.

I'd expect that they'd run the image through the same analytical software, and report what they find. If they make accusations of alterations, they can show it on their images and you ran rebut, or they can exonerate you. If you are accused of making alterations that you deny, then we'll be back at square one.
I don't expect people to alter your posted document and then accuse you of doing so, because what you post will be picked up by all the bloggers, analyzed, and added to the several examples of certificates that are already out there. At the very least, you'll be anonymously famous.

Were we in a courtroom and the burden was on him to prove it, I’d agree that he has not proven it beyond a reasonable doubt. But that still leaves the fact that *all* you have right now are doubts. The previous claims that ‘proved’ it was a forgery for various reasons? They were busted.

Right there on the form it says "ANY ALTERATION VOIDS THIS DOCUMENT"
Blacking out the cert # BY ITSELF suffices.
