Remember, I get them at just $1.59 per pack. Forty bucks at this store buys more than enought chow to last a week for two people. Let's do the math:

3 packs of Johnsonville brats cost $4.77. That takes care of a couple of breakfasts plus some snacks.

3 1-lb. rolls of Jimmy Dean sausages takes care of the meat for breakfast for the rest of the week---$3.00. 2 dozen jumbo eggs @ $1.89/dz. for the weekly egg quota---$3.78. 4 DiGiorno pizzas @ 1.50 ea. takes care of 1 supper, 1 lunch, and a snack. ---$6.00.

1 6 lb. bag of frozen breaded chicken brests takes care of 2 suppers and 1 lunch---$3.99.

1 10 lb. frozen turkey @ $7.00 takes care of 2 suppers and 2 lunches. 4 seedless watermelons @ 99 cents ea. and 4 honeydew melons @ 99 cents each takes care of the weekly melon quota. Total---$7.96.

4 half gallons of milk @ 99 cents per half gallon---$3.96. Grand total ----$39.44.

Combined with our $50 deal where we get about a 10 day supply of lots of meat (including red meat like strip steaks) this mean almost 3 weeks of chow for about 90 bucks. So this works out to about $30 worth of food per week. Or about $5.00 per day for the two of us to eat very well. Okay, make it $7.00 per day to account for the extra 4 days I was shy plus snack and other knick knacks. Round it off to $4.00 for each of us to eat per day. Not bad.
