And brown accessories go good with yellow.

And khaki...brown and khaki are awesome...can never go wrong with a neutral :) Sigh...

And Marshalls...and in part of the country a regional buy-out store called Gabriel Brothers. Awesome. They sometimes have (I kid you not) Dooney and Burke (I think from QVC) at like 1/5 the cost. I am a 'purse' woman.

I have Coach knock off that is really indistinguishable from the real thing...its boat shaped, woven straw w/white leather top and tropical striped lining. I got it at one of those 'sidewalk' cash only places in NYC years ago...

MaxAzria wide-legged was my style in the 70s. Sans the dragging leg hemline. Hip-hugger bell bottoms from the Military Surplus Store in San Rafael, Marin County, CA.

But! It's not really a 70s look UNTIL there's braid around the hem, or embroidery (original) lacing down the side seam.

The problem with the widelegged, if the hemline drags the ground? Natty hemline, for one. For two, and a big oopsy.. stepping onto the front of the pants-leg hemline. Has this nasty tendency to pull the pants right off the hips as one carooms into a face plant fall. Took only one time wearing too-long wide legs, and while going for my spare at a bowling alley.

Watched a woman with pointytoes nearly pants herself exactly this way about a week ago. No, I didn't laugh.
