[Punish those two states to the point they will be completely lost in the general election.]I can't speak about Florida (although I suspect it's true), but the electoral votes of Michigan are already in the RAT column for November. "Vote early and vote often" works especially well with the dead and the never-existed. Just dial in the size of the majority you want.
None of the RATs were concerned about Michigan because they know the state will vote RAT in November. Why waste money on something that's already in the bag? But with the coronation called off, and a primary fight in progress, they now have to battle for delegates that have suddenly become vital for the nomination.
