Don't know that song (I could find it, I'm sure), but the title yields an immediate possibility: "The Little White Crowd That Cried," about these white liberals blubbering over Obama's CYA speech.

PLUS, within the last 24 hours a new firestorm has erupted in our church body, the LCMS. The host and producer of the best Lutheran radio/Internet talk show, "Issues Etc." were suddenly FIRED yesterday, with no reason given. The powers that be in our synod are opposed to true confessional Lutheranism.

They were fired because they were caught eating Lima beans for lent.

LOL! BTW, Dr. Demento used to play that song a lot. Oh, and I used to sit in on some Dr. Demento broadcasts in Westwood CA because I knew his producer.

We hear that song every year on radio around here. I’m not familiar with Dr. Demento. I guess it’s a generational thing. But then, my taste in music is probably unusual to a lot of folks.
