Oh, man is right! Glad she didn’t ruin the fig. Good thing they’re tough. Dogs are like toddlers. They watch everything you do and invent their own methods of “helping.” LOL
Spring seems awfully far away today.
Ice has been coming down since early this morning, and will continue until this evening.
We’ll be staying in and playing games all day, so that should be fun. Hopefully our electricity stays on.
YIKES -— I feel for you about the ice, it can cause so many horrible problems.
I too feel spring is a long ways off..........I knew we were going to pay for the 70+ degree days we had last week. It’s 23 here this morning.
Wow, that’s quite a temp drop! Have you had any bad storms as a result?
Last week we had one day in the 70’s, and then ended up with some tornados once the cold front met up with the unseasonably warm temps. I love warm weather, but it causes problems when it happens in February.
Thanks everybody for your replies; I sure do appreciate it.
We lucked out, we avoided any of the storms, although there was concern Wednesday about the possibility of some. no tornadoes either, but we have had winds really powerful for nearly a week. Not as bad today, but they were recording gusts up to 65mph last week, and there have been problems with field fires between the wind and the unusually low humidity.
NK (I think it is) has those delightful seed packs with anthropomorphized veggies and flowers on the packet, oriented to kids. A big kid-sized straw hat is cheaper (and better for ‘em) than a video game unit. ;’)
I think you’re right that it is NK and I’ve bought them!
You’re right about the straw hats. Alas my kid thinks they are more for the cats and not her!!!!!
To be honest, there are times when I would prefer she spend a little more time with the video game than outside getting into some of the things she gets into :)
I just remembered what happened to my wife in 19996 when she started watching our 6 year old grandson and he switched all the labels on about 50 flats of annual seeds in the greenhouse. She had to wait until they came up to identify most of them and some of them she had to wait until they matured. We still laugh about when we get together...
ROFL!!!!!!!!!
Our daughter did that to me one year. I solved the problem by giving her the seed packs and having her make the labels by copying the names BEFORE we start planting.
