If McCain or Huckabee wins Michigan, and Romney pulls out, then Fred Thompson has little chance of winning South Carolina. And the Republicans have even less chance of nominating someone who will roll over for the Dumbocrat agenda.
I, for one, ain't gonna vote for open borders and socialism-lite.

I have not seen such division and hand wringing in my life in the Republican Party...
Hillary will be our next president for sure. I suppose that's better than BO.

Not surprising at all to me. Mitt is a chameleon. If he is the republican nominee many conservatives might stay home or vote third party because they don’t trust what he says.

I can’t see Romney pulling out soon no matter what happens. Maybe after super Tues. but not before.

Im no Romney fan but Romney isnt exactly the candidate that would be easiest to beat. You've gotta be jokin' jack. The Romulan is the perfect set up for a 45-state blitz by the Dems. He'd carry only Utah, Nevada, Wyoming, and perhaps Idaho, maybe one other state. It will be the worst Republican defeat since Goldwater v. LBJ/Hoover v. FDR; and just consider what those defeats cost--Socialistic Security (now going broke), Medicare (going broker), welfare entitlements, high taxes, higher crime, and liberal judges somewhere to the left of Karl Marx that will let the criminals out again to prey on society!
It took the Republicans 16 years (from 1964 to 1980) to recover from the last Democratic sweep. It will take even longer should the Romulan ever get the nod.

Personally I don’t think anyone in the top 3 really has much of a chance against the democrats anyway. Its kind of a moot point to me but I gave the opinion.

Well, I can admire that. John and Fred are the best we can come up with right now. Hopefully if McCain wins the nomination he will be prepared for the Hildibeast. Of course in a fashion that does not include implosion.

It would be such a pleasant change to all the liberal votes for McCain.
