Interesting that the Romney team was there to accept the endorsement.
Great pick for Fred. And the word spreads.

Don’t know if they were intentionally mislead or if it was just the ego and overconfidence getting the better of them but either way it is pretty sweet irony that they would all be there with well rehearsed lines and, I’m guessing, pre-made signs and banners. I envision Fred riding his bus, looking at his watch and smiling to himself.....

I will put all my efforts into and the fire into the belly of the person whom I believe destiny has called to be the next president of the United States, Fred Thompson. This sounds like more than an endorsment. Is he going to work for Fred also?

From reading the speech, it appears he is endorsing Romney until the very last words! He mentions ALL the candidates except Romney! weird

Can't get a more eloquent, nor well thought out endorsement than this.
" There is no question about that candidates position on protecting our sovereignty at the borders, in the workplace and on the streets of America. The Rule of Law will be reestablished in American life. My long and exceptionally deliberative evaluation of the Republican candidates for president has come to an end. I will put all my efforts into and the fire into the belly of the person whom I believe destiny has called to be the next president of the United States, Fred Thompson."

My mama, from Iowa herself, told me that “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.”

This sounds like more than an endorsment. Is he going to work for Fred also? Yes. He is going to campaign for Fred in Iowa during his bus tour.

Wow! Looks like he dissed Romney. I wonder what Team Romney did to deserve that.
