Unless we step in and intervene, 560 PPM may be as good as it ever gets (that’s right, I wrote good). The long term trend is downward. Man made CO2 is a temporary upward blip, in the grand scheme of things. At some point, green plants will die out, then, if we have not colonized other planets by that point, we’re gonna be soooooo hosed.

This is just a sampling of recent peer-reviewed studies and scientists that you probably have not read about or heard about on the mainstream media. Enjoy. Oooo. Here's a GREAT resource for you to print off and dump on the desk of your whackaloon co-worker when he starts trying to indoctrinate the kids again.

nice to see some quality studies answer the hysteria. Living in SoCal, and driving a big V8 Titan, I hear a lot of nonsense.

Ah, perhaps the word spinners have stumbled on some folks who actually know......science....
Wonder what’s happening to the Goracle’s “concensus”?
That “duh” pic above sez it all!!

"It is about time science is finally catching up." Amen to that! I was telling a lib-friend of mine that if real science doesn't over take this political theater of global warming hysteria driven by politicians, then real science is doomed, never to be believed again, and we'll regress back to the dark ages.
Of course, he was fully clueless about what I had said.

Of course, he was fully clueless about what I had said. 80% of Americans are clueless. If a leftist wins the Presidency, it is all over, as far as reliable scientific research is concerned. We are entering very dangerous waters, when the scientific method is so blatantly ignored. I see no slow down of the AGW fanatics and their supporters in the media. A quick visit to the freaks at realclimate will make anyone who respects the scientific method sick to their stomach. Gore and his minions would make Goebbels's smile.

So, then can we really trust Al Gore? After all, he has a vested interest in global warming. Hes selling the solution to the perceived problem. If not for this, what would he be doing? Would anyone care about him otherwise?Poor Al. Failed as a politician. Couldn't hack law school or divinity studies. What, other than selling carbon credits, does he have left? Please, don't take this away from him! It will break him for sure! /s

Personally, I hope the Earth still has a few degrees of warming left in her this interglacial cycle. I don't think we're ready to cope with another glacial yet, but I do think it's a bit early for one.
What I've read suggests that the Arctic Ocean opens up during interglacials but the Greenland sheet does not melt, at least not in the cycles we've been going through the last few hundred thousand years.
