Good luck finding more polls that look good for your guy, RudyBooster.

I like Duncan Hunter and am a little fond of you but you’re being delusional man. Step back look at the facts and make a reasonable determination of what is going to be. I’m on record as saying I would support Duncan Hunter in a heart beat if he got the nomination but it ain’t gonna happen. Maybe in elections to come but he hasn’t done enough to distinguish himself among the populace he needs to do that before he will be a serious candidate for President of the United States that is simply the truth. Will you support Fred Thompson if he gets the nomination?

When Hunter gets his name ID up there(working on it) he will be just as electable.

The question is not when but how. Don't get me wrong, I have loved it for Hunter to be a top tier candidate, but he only speaks to the choir and when he does, he speaks to a very small segment of that choir. How do you reach the other 99%? How do you reach the 75% of that who can't even identify the VP in a line-up?

Here’s my post on their site:

Why Fred instead of Mitt?

Unlike Mitt, Fred is a conservative.
Unlike Mitt, Fred opposes gay marriage.
Unlike Mitt, Fred answers his detractors quickly and sharply, taking no prisoners.
Unlike Mitt, Fred has lots of Washington experience.
Unlike Mitt, Fred has never supported abortion.
Unlike Mitt, Fred has mastered the internet as a tool for reaching voters. His political blogs are frequent and inspiring. Mitt seems to limit himself to politically correct press releases and speeches that have been homogenized by advisers so as not to offend anyone.
Unlike Mitt, Fred doesn’t have to spend $100 for a haircut.
Unlike Mitt, Fred isn’t from Massachusetts.
Fred’s TV presence is much better than Mitt’s. If there’s anything we should have learned during the Bush administration, it is that TV presence is critical.
Fred has the debating skills to eat Hillary alive. Mitt is way too mild mannered to deal properly with the shrew.
Fred is a strong supporter of real border security. I haven’t heard Mitt say much in this area.

One of my major problems with Mitt is that he is bland. Everything he says and does is bland. Bland is not what we need in the face of rude, shrill Democrats.

Mitt is a good guy, but he’s currently third on my list, behind Fred and Duncan Hunter. Thompson/Watts is my dream ticket. Thompson/Romney might be a winner as well.

Yes. I will vote for whoever wins the nomination, except maybe Rudy.

Who knows, maybe between now and the first primary, Dan Quayle will jump in the race and solve this problem for everyone.

who else demanded Harry Reid resign, who else mocked Pelosi’s bill to have a 15 day waiting period for new troop deployments, who else wrote a bill to build a border fence, who else took Murtha’s cut and run bill and forced it to a vote, etc etc

These are all positives for him as a person, but how much media attention did he get with any of these? (CSPAN doesn't count.)

We don't want candidates that will tear other Republicans down. We want candidates that will go after the left.

Exactly. And he does it with aplomb.

I really really like him. And I think that he can win the general, and win it big.

Good luck with your crow eating. And with supporting your vanity candidate that has no chance whatsoever of even reaching the 10% mark, much less getting the nomination.

So you see no difference in Rudy and Hillary.

We'll see, and I wish him well. Frankly, I don't see it, but if he wins the nomination, I will vote for him (although, when I read his site, he was a little too statist for me... but he's no Giuliani).

I I do see some differences between the two. But Rudy will be the death of the Reagan coalition, and I don’t know if I can vote for that.

Does the name Ruth Bader Ginsberg strike a note.

Statist? LOL. Unless you consider 1000% pro-life, pro-property rights, and staunch 2A to be statist, (which I do not think you do), I’m not sure what that means.

But Enough’s enough. I’ll bother you no further.

Yes. It’s the supreme court justice cited by Rudy as the type of “good lawyer” he could put on the federal bench.
