You do realize that the ONLY reason Duncan Hunter is not polling higher right now is because so many people THINK he does not have a chance. Do you know how many folks have told me persoanlly that they think Duncan Hunter is the BEST candidate in the race, but that they don't think he has a chance? .....and now that he is getting a little attention, MANY of those same folks have decided that he DOES stand a very good chance. VOTE for the BEST CANDIDATE in the PRIMARY and the GENERAL election will go well.... vote for a "compromise-conservative candidate/RINO" and say hello to PRESIDENT HILLARY... that's all I can say..

I think the Thompson/Hunter debate is fair, and I see no need to get hostile. We ARE on the same team folks! The PRIMARY is where we debate who is the best to LEAD US ! That debate is healthy and productive. So tell me this 2ndDivisionVet, when Duncan Hunter wins the Primary will he then have your FULL support?

judging from the TITLE, I would say he is a VOLUNTEER, who likely got the information 2nd or maybe even 3rd hand. I don't know, but I think communicating/coordinating events will go much smoother once we get more folks in the State/Local meetup groups. Also, I would certainly check the OFFICIAL website frequently for information on upcoming events. Sorry folks, I hate to leave a discussion that I started but it is 2:30AM, prime time to capture/kill some terrorists.

You have nothing you can document to say about Rep. Hunter. You just express a personal opinion. So the only reason some of you Fred groupies come onto a Hunter thread is to thumb your noses at him, and at us.

You are certainly welcome to come on a Hunter thread if you have something that is vitally important for us to know. Unfortunately we are not accorded the same courtesy on Fredthreads. Anything we disagree with him about we are called bashers. This is war, Mr., so suit up. :)

The only candidates I wouldn’t vote for are John McCain, Ron Paul and Rudy Giuliani. I haven’t researched people like Sam Brownback because they have 0% chance of winning.
Of course I would vote for Rep. Hunter in the general election, but my point is is that’s not going to happen!

The political physics of it work. He would never pick a man too different from himself like Hunter is. And he would never pick a man too similar to himself. McCain is very similar but theres a perception that they’re very different.

Aside from the fact that he would lose about a 3rd of his voters in picking McCain is the fact that McCain is the more powerfull man from a political standpoint. On the other hand he could pick Romney or Rootie and screw things up just as badly.
