If Duncan Hunter is president, government expense will shrink dramatically because it is his plan to close out superfluous and obsolete Federal programs, and return control of public education to the local level. Why didn't he do this when he was keeping a seat warm in Congress.

Surely you jest! That power fell within the jurisdiction of two Bushes and a Clinton, not a hardworking Congressman, no matter how dedicated he is.
Duncan Hunter is not a sitter, he is a doer. Our military is as strong as it is because of his efforts to rebuild what those presidents tore down.
